Central Govt. Enterprise—New India Assurance Company Ltd is recruiting 379 Boys and Girls for the post of “Administrative Officer (Scale-I) Probationary”. The required qualifications were as follows:-
Total Vacant Post: 379 Nos. (Gen-192; OBC-102; SC-57 and ST-28) among them 4 nos. is reserved for PH candidates.
Group-B, Code no. 04: 289 Posts.
Graduate pass boys and girls in any stream with total 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) can apply for the post. Candidates with Post-Graduate in any stream with total 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) can also apply. M.B.A. Course pass or Post-Graduate Diploma Course in Management from Pune N.I.A. were also eligible to apply.
Group-A-2, Code No.02: 25 Posts.
Graduate pass boys and girls in any stream with total 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) can apply for the post. Candidates with Post-Graduate in any stream with total 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) can also apply. Candidate should be a member of Actuarial Society of India and should have pass minimum 5 papers in Actuary Exam.
Group-A-3, Code No.03: 25 Posts.
With total 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in Graduate with Commerce stream pass candidates can apply for the post. Post-Graduate Boys and Girls in Commerce stream with total 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) can also apply. Candidates with Chattered Accountancy or Cost Accountancy Course pass were also eligible to apply.
Group-A-1, Code No.01: 40 Posts.
Candidates with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in Information Technology/ Computer Science Degree (B.E./ B.Tech) Course can apply for the post. Boys/Girls with total 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) in Computer Management Master Degree (M.C.M), Master Degree in Information Technology (M.I.T) OR Information Technology/ Computer Science’s Master Degree (M.E/ M.Tech) Course pass were also eligible to apply.
For all the above post, Age should be between 21 yrs to 30 yrs as on 1-2-2011. Age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 yrs and PH candidates—10 yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.17240—32640. Basic pay for beginning period—Rs.17240
For selection of candidates, there will be Written Test which will be held on 22 May 2011 at their respective centres. Questions will be Objective Types on following topics: (i) English Language; (ii) Test of Reasoning; (iii) General Awareness and (iv) Numerical Ability/Data Interpretation Test.

Along with Application, enclose the following documents: (1) One Recent Pass port size photo affixed on application form; (2) One self-addressed envelope (9.5X5 inch) with affixed postal stamp of Rs.5; (3) Attested copy of Caste certificate in case of SC/ST and OBC; (4) Crossed Bank Draft of Rs. 500 (Rs.150 in case of SC/ST and PH) in favour of “The New India Assurance Company Limited” which should be cashable at any branch of Mumbai.
On the back side of Bank Draft, mention your Name, Address and Post group and Code No.
Candidate can also apply for two posts at the same time and on same application form, in that case candidate should prepare a cross Bank Draft of Rs. 700 (Rs.200 for SC/ST and PH candidates)
