The New India Assurance Company Ltd (NIACL) is recruiting 509 Administrative Officers (Scale – I) in the discipline of – Finance, Engineering, Legal, Automobile Engineering and Generalist. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS (SCALE – I)
Total vacancies: 509 Nos. (Gen—261; SC—73; ST—37; OBC—138)

 

Discipline, number of vacancies and qualification —

1. FINANCE: 65 Nos.
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA)/ MBA (FINANCE) / B.COM / M.COM

2. ENGINEERING: 25 Nos.
Qualification: B.Tech /B.E (in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Communication Engineering).

3. AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING: 30 Nos.
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering OR Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with Diploma (at least one year duration) in Automobile Engineering.

4. LEGAL: 40 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in Law.

4. GENERALIST: 349 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in any stream.

Note: Applicable to all posts — Preference will be given to candidates having post qualification experience in their area of specialization.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 21yrs and maximum 30yrs as on 01.10.2014, i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd Oct-1984 and not later than 1st Oct-1993 (both dates inclusive).
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.17240—Rs.32640 plus other allowances as per norms. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs.36,000/- p.m.

 

Candidates’ Selection: The final selection will be made on the basis of overall performance in Online Examination and Interview.
The tentative date of Online Examination is 10.01.2015/ 11.01.2015.

Examination will be hold at various centres across the Country. In West Bengal, the examination centre will be at – Asansol, Bardhaman, Berhampore, Durgapur, Hoogly, Howrah, Kalyani, Kolkata/Greater Kolkata, Siliguri and Dumkal.

Application Fee: Rs.600/- only for all candidates other than SC/ST/PWD/ Female candidates. Application Fee for SC/ST, PWD and Female candidates is Rs.50/- only. Fee is to be paid through online mode during submission of online Application form.
