NExT 2025 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The exam will be like a practice test and will happen on computers. You’ll have 3 hours for Paper I and 3 hours and 30 minutes for Paper II. The questions will mostly be multiple-choice with one right answer. The test will run in two shifts, from 9 AM to 12 noon and from 2:30 PM to 6 PM. There will be 120 questions in Paper I and 140 questions in Paper II. For each right answer, you get one mark, but if you answer wrong, they’ll take away a quarter of a mark.
