NHPC Limited is recruiting 79 Trainee Engineer ( Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Environment/ HR/ Fin/ Geo/ Etc), Asst. Rajbhasha Officer, Medical Officer and Hindi Translator for the vacancies against Special Recruitment Drive (Backlog vacancies of SC/ST/OBC/PWD). Advertisement No. NH/Rectt./02/2013. Educational qualification and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —

SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE 
Trainee Engineer (Civil): 15 Nos.
Qualification: Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology/ B.SC (Engineering) Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.

Trainee Engineer (Electrical): 13 Nos.
Qualification: Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology/ B.SC (Engineering) Degree in Electrical (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power) Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent

Trainee Engineer (Mechanical): 06 Nos.
Qualification: Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology/ B.SC (Engineering) Degree in relevant discipline (Mechanical/ Production/ Thermal/ Mechanical & Automation) Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent

Trainee Officer (Environment): 4 Nos.
Qualification: Full time B.E/ B.Tech (Environment Engineering)/ M.Sc (Environmental Science) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent

Trainee Officer (HR): 8 Nos.
Qualification: Full time regular two years Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Post Graduate Program in Management with specialization in HR/ HRM/ HRM & Labour Relations/ Industrial Relations/ Personnel Management/ Personnel Management & Industrial Relations/ Industrial Relations & Personnel Management
OR
Full time regular two years Master in Social Work with specialization in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations
OR
Full time regular two years Masters of Human Resource and Organisational Developments (MHROD)
OR
Full time regular two years MBA with specialization in Human Resource with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Trainee Officer (Finance): 14 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate with CA from ICAI/ CWA or CMA from Institute of Cost Accountants.

Trainee Officer (Geology): 3 Nos.
Qualification: Full time regular M.Sc (Geo)/ M.Tech in Applied Geology (should have studied Geology with Maths or Physics at Graduation level) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Trainee Officer (Geophysics): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Full time regular M.Tech / M.Sc (Tech) in Applied Geophysics/ Exploration Geophysics/ Geophysics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Medical Officer: 4 Nos.
Qualification: MBBS Degree with valid registration with two years post Internship experience.

Assistant Rajbhasha Officer: 3 Nos.
Qualification:  Master’s degree in Hindi with English as an elective subject at the degree level or Master’s degree in English with Hindi as an elective subject at the degree level. Plus 3 years post qualification experience as on 01-10-2013 in the relevant field. See the below advt. for details.

CURRENT YEAR VACANCIES
Assistant Rajbhasha Officer: 3 Nos.
Qualification: Same as above post.

Hindi Translator: 5 Nos.
Qualification: Master’s degree in Hindi with English as an elective subject at the degree level or Vice-versa
Experience — one year post qualification experience in the field OR one year post qualification experience in research or teaching in Hindi OR Degree/Diploma in translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa.

Age Limit as on 01.10.2013 —
For the post of Medical Officer: maximum 33yrs
For the post of Assistant Rajbhasha Officer: Maximum 35yrs
For the rest of posts: Maximum 30yrs.
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test which will be held in four cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. Candidates may download their Admit card in due course from the official website of NHPC

Application Fee: Rs.250/- for General and OBC candidates. Fee is to be paid through bank transaction (State Bank of India) by means of pay-in-slip which can be print-out from the website.
No Application Fee for SC/ST and PWD categories.

After successful submission of Online Application form, candidates must print-out the system generated Registration Slip which will appear on the computer screen with unique Registration Number.
