1. Trainee Engineer (Electrical) (E-2):50 Nos.
Educational Qualification:Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.SC (Engineering) Degree approved by AICTE or AMIE with minimum 60% marks equivalent grade.
Electrical Discipline includes:- Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Power System & Higher Voltage / Power Engineering.
Age Limit: Maximum-30years as on 01.04.2016
Pay Scale:20600/- Rs.46500/-
2. Trainee Engineer (Civil) (E-2): 20 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.SC (Engineering) Degree in Civil Engineering approved by AICTE or AMIE with minimum 60% marks equivalent grade.
Age Limit: Maximum-30years as on 01.04.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.20600/- Rs.46500/-
3. Trainee Engineer (Mechanical) (E-2): 20 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.SC (Engineering) Degree in Civil Engineering approved by AICTE or AMIE with minimum 60% marks equivalent grade.
Mechanical Discipline includes:- Mechanical / Production / Thermal / Mechanical & Automation Engineering.

4. Trainee Officer (Geology) (E-2): 09 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Full time regular M.Sc.(Geo) / M. Tech in applied Geology (should have studies Geology with Mathematics or Physics at Graduation level).
Age Limit: Maximum-30years as on 01.04.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.20600/- Rs.46500/-
Essential Requirement: Candidates should have valid GATE-2016 Registration number. Candidates interested in joining NHPC as Trainee Engineers / Officer need to appear in GATE-2016.
