NHPC, a Govt. of India Enterprise, is inviting application for 128 Nos. “Trainee Engineer/ Officer” in different discipline, viz. – Civil, Mechanical, E&C, IT, Geology, Geophysics, Geo Technical, Earthquake, HR, Finance, Law, PR, Company Secretary, Safety, Etc., against Special Recruitment Drive for SC/ST, OBC and PWD candidates. NHPC INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 128 TRAINEE POSTS AGAINST SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR SC/ST, OBC AND PWD CANDIDATES. LAST DATE – 23/02/2015

 

1. Trainee Engineer (Civil): 35 posts. (SC—7; ST—6; OBC—22)
Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10 and class 12.

2. Trainee Engineer (Mechanical): 16 posts. (SC—5; ST—1; OBC—10)
Qualification: Degree in Mechanical/ Production/ Thermal/ Mechanical & Automation with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10 and class 12.

3. Trainee Engineer (E&C): 5 posts. (SC—1; OBC—4)
Qualification: Degree in Electronics & Communication/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Power/ Power Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation and Control with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10 and class 12.

4. Trainee Engineer/Officer (IT): 1 post. (OBC)
Qualification: Degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering Or Master’s degree in Computer Application with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10 and class 12.

5. Trainee Engineer/ Officer (Geology): 3 posts. (SC—1; ST—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: M.Sc (Geo)/ M.Tech in Applied Geology with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10, 12 and Bachelor’s degree.

6. Trainee Engineer/ Officer (Geophysicist): 1 post. (OBC)
Qualification: M.Tech/ M.Sc (Tech) in Applied Geophysics/ Exploration Geophysics/ Geophysics with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10, class 12 and Bachelor’s degree.

7. Trainee Engineer/ Officer (Geo Technical): 2 posts. (SC—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: M.Sc/ M.Tech (Geotechnical Engineering) with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10, class 12 and Bachelor’s degree.

8. Trainee Engineer/ Officer (Earthquake): 1 post. (OBC)
Qualification: M.Tech (Seismic Vulnerability & Risk Assessment) with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10, class 12 and Bachelor’s degree.

9. Trainee Officer (HR): 5 posts. (SC—1; OBC—4)
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Post Graduate Program in Management with specialization in Human Resource/ Human Resource Management/ Human Resource Management & Labour Relations/ Industrial Relations/ Personnel Management/ Personnel Management & Industrial relations/ Industrial relations & Personnel Management OR M Master’sdegree in Social Works with specialization in personnel Management & Industrial Relations OR Master’s degree of Human Resource & Organisational Development (MHROD) OR MBA with specialization in Human Resource. Candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks in Class 10, Class 12, Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree or PG Diploma.

10. Trainee Officer (Finance): 20 posts. (SC—3; ST—11; OBC—6)
Qualification: CA/CWA or CMA with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10, class 12.

11. Medical Officer: 5 posts. (OBC)
Qualification: MBBS Degree with valid registration and two years post Internship experience. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10, class 12

12. Trainee Officer (Law): 3 posts. (SC—1; ST—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Degree in Law with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10, class 12

13. Trainee Officer (PR): 3 posts. (SC—1; ST—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Communication/ Mass Communication/ Journalism. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10, class 12 and Bachelor’s degree.

14. Assistant Rajbhasha Officer: 13 posts. (SC—1; ST—1; OBC—11)
Qualification: Master degree from recognized University in Hindi with English as an elective submitted at the degree level or Vice-versa. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10, class 12, Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.

15. Trainee Officer (Company Secretary): 5 posts. (SC—1; ST—1; OBC—3)
Qualification: Graduate with membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of Indai. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10, class 12 and Graduate’s degree.

16. Trainee Engineer (Safety): 10 posts. (SC—1; ST—2; OBC—7)
Qualification: Degree in Civil/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power systems & High Voltage/ Power Engineering/ Mechanical AND one year full time Diploma in Industrial Safety with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have also secured 60% marks in class 10, class 12, Bachelor’s degree.

 

Essential Note: Candidates applying for the post of Trainee Engineer/ Trainee Officer (Except Finance, CS, Medical discipline) should have acquired the above prescribed qualification through full time regular courses from recognized Indian University/ Institute
Candidates appearing the final year examination or awaiting declaration of result are not eligible to apply. Candidates below 60% marks from Class 10 onwards are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit: Maximum 30 years for all the posts, except the post of Assistant Rajbhasha Officer. Upper age limit is 35 years for the post of Asstt. Rajbhasha Officer

 

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview. Exact date and venue will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
The written test will be held at various centres, viz. – Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna & Raipur.

Registration Fee: General and OBC candidates shall pay Fee of Rs.250/- through State Bank of India by means of fee payment challan which can be downloaded from the website of NHPC.

NO FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ ST AND PWD CANDIDATES.

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration Slip with Registration Number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies out of which one copy enclosed with self-attested copies of testimonials (in support of eligibility such as qualification certificate, caste certificate, age proof, fee challan receipt, ect) is to be send at the below given address by ORDINARY POST ONLY, so as to reach on or before 10/03/2015.

Address to send the print-out of Online Registration Slip: POST BOX NO.364, AMAR NAGAR POST OFFICE, FARIDABAD – 121003 (HARYANA). Use Ordinary Post only.

The application containing envelope should be superscribed on top with the Advertisement Number, Post applied for and Category (such as Gen./OBC/SC/ST/PWD)
