As per Annexure 1 of the official notice, candidates are permitted to make changes in specific fields. The corrections are categorized as follows:
1. Fields That CANNOT Be Changed
Candidates shall NOT be allowed to change the following under any circumstances:
- Mobile Number
- Email Address
- Permanent and Present Address
- Uploaded Signature Image
2. Fields That Can Be Changed (Choose Only ONE)
Candidates can correct any one of the following name fields:
- Candidate’s Name OR
- Father’s Name OR
- Mother’s Name
3. Fields That Can Be Changed (All Allowed)
Candidates can edit all of the following academic qualification details:
- Class 10 / Equivalent Details
- Class 12 / Equivalent Details
- Graduation Details (if applicable)
- Post-Graduation Details (if applicable)
4. Change in Examination City
Candidates are allowed to change their selected Examination State and City.
5. Fields That Can Be Changed (All Allowed – May Affect Fee)
Candidates can edit all of the following personal details. Note: Changes here may impact the application fee.
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category (e.g., General, SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS)
- Sub-category / PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities)
6. Programme Selection Edit
Candidates can edit, add, or change their selected programme(s) (e.g., B.Des, B.F.Tech, M.Des) as per their eligibility.
Crucial: Any change in Category, PwBD status, or Programme selection that results in a change in the applicable fee will require the payment of an additional fee. The system will prompt for this payment during the correction process. Excess fee paid (if any) will not be refunded.
