National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur (West Bengal), is inviting application for Special Recruitment Drive to fill up SC/ST posts of – Assistant Foreman, Machine Man and Upper Division Assistant. Advertisement No. NITD/SRD-03/02/2013. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —
1. Assistant Foreman: 2 Nos.
— welding Shop: 1 Nos. (ST)
— Machine Shop: 1 Nos. (ST)
Education Qualification: Diploma in Engineering in appropriate field with 2 years experience as Senior Mechanic or equivalent.
2. Machine Man (Printing Press): 1 Nos. (ST)
Education Qualification: Graduate with certificate course in operation & Maintenance of Printing Machine and 3yrs of working experience in a press of repute.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade pay: Rs.2400/-
3. Upper Division Assistant: 1 Nos. (SC)
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with a Computer Key depression of 40 w.p.m. with 5 years of relevant experience.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade pay: Rs.2400/-
Age Limits: maximum 35yrs as on 30/04/2013. Upper age relaxation as per norms.
The selection of candidates will be through personal Interview. Only eligible candidates will be called. The vacancies are against special recruitment drive for SC/ST candidates. Only SC/ST candidates are eligible to apply.
