4. Computer Science & Engineering (Continuing Education): 1 No.

6. Mechanical Engineering (Industrial Consultancy & Entrepreneurship): 1 No.
7. Civil Engineering: 1 No.

Discipline/ Department wise Educational Qualification:

(i) Education: B Sc/ M Sc with First class & M Ed and PhD in appropriate discipline

(ii) Science: M Sc in Mathematics / Statistics with First class and Ph D in Appropriate discipline or BE/ B Tech and ME/M Tech in any branch of engineering with First Class and having field of research work in applied mathematics / statistics BE/ B Tech and/ ME/M Tech in relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent either in BE/ B.Tech or ME/ M. Tech

(iii) For rest of all discipline: BE/ B Tech and/ ME/M Tech in relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent either in BE/ B Tech or ME/ M Tech

 

Essential Experience:
Professor: Minimum of 10 years teaching with high quality research / industrial experience of which at least 5 years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent.
Associate Professor: Minimum of 5 years teaching out of which 3 years with AGP of Rs.8,000/- with high quality research / industrial experience and having at least 2 years post Ph D experience.
Assistant Professor: For those with three or more years of teaching/research/industrial experience, higher AGP can be offered.

 

Pay Scale:
(i) Professor: RS.37400— Rs.67000
(ii) Associate Professor: Rs.37400 – Rs.67000
(iii) Assistant Professor: Rs.15600—Rs.39100

 

Application Fee: Rs.400/- (Rs.100 for SC/ST/ OBC/PWD candidates) in form of Bank draft payable in favour of the Director, NITTTR, Kolkata, payable at Kolkata.

The selection process involves screening followed by presentation cum Interview. Candidates willing to apply for more than post shall submit each application and fee separately.
