NITTTR Kolkata Recruitment 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
Professor, Civil Engineering:-
- The candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant disciplines
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant disciplines
- Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or relevant disciplines
- First class or equivalent either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. And a Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 3 years. shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
Professor, Computer Science and Engineering:-
- As per the official notification candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Master’s degree in computer science and engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Ph.D. in computer science and engineering or relevant disciplines.
- First class or equivalent either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level And Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
Professor, Electrical Engineering:-
- As per the official notification candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- First class or equivalent either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. A minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
Associate Professor, Civil Engineering:-
- As per the official notification candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Ph. D in Civil Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- First class or equivalent either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level And At least a total 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals. And a Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 2 years shall be post Ph. D experience.
Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering:-
- As per the official notification candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines
- Ph. D in Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines
- First class or equivalent either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level and At least a total of 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals. And a Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 2 years shall be post Ph. D experience.
Professor of Practice:-
Essential Qualification and Experience:
Professors from universities, institutes, or persons from R &D labs, industry, or Govt. of India or abroad, (with qualifications and experience equivalent to Professors) including those on sabbatical leave from other institutions or retired. Having a strong network with industries, Ideas in curriculum revision and development, Ideas in applying Education Technology in the T-L process, ability to perform academic audits and social science research independently.
Section Officer Grade II (Secretarial):- The candidates must have passed a Graduate in any discipline.

Selection Process for NITTTR Kolkata Recruitment 2024
