NMDC Limited, under Ministry of Steel, is recruiting eligible candidates for 311 posts of Jr. Officer/Trainee, Mechanic/ Trainee, Technician/Trainee, Jr. Assistant/Trainee, Maintenance Assistant/Trainee and Etc. in different trades/ discipline for Donimalai Iron Ord Min and Pellet Plant of DIOM Complex. NMDC LIMITED INVITES APPLICATION FOR 311 POSTS JUNIOR OFFICER, MECHANIC, TECHNICIAN, JR. ASSISTANT AND ETC AS TRAINEE. LAST DATE – 10/03/2015

 

1. Junior Officer (Mechanical) Trainee: 12 posts.
Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR 03 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: No experience required in case of Degree holders but 05yrs relevant experience required in case of Diploma holders.

 

2. Junior Officer (Electrical) Trainee: 3 posts.
Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering [Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) is preferable] OR 03yrs Diploma in Electrical Engineering with Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining).
Experience: No experience required in case of Degree holders but 05yrs relevant experience required in case of Diploma holders.

 

3. Junior Officer (Civil) Trainee: 2 posts.
Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering OR 03yrs Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience: No experience required in case of Degree holders but 05yrs relevant experience required in case of Diploma holders.

 

4. Junior Officer (Geology) Trainee: 2 posts.
Qualification: M.Sc/M.Sc (Tech)/ M.Tech in Geology/ Applied Geology/ Exploration Geology
Experience: One year relevant post qualification experience.

 

5. Junior Officer (Horticulture): 1 post.
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Science (M.Sc) with Agriculture/ Horticulture or B.Sc Agriculture/ Horticulture of 04yrs OR B.Sc (03yrs) plus PG Diploma in Agriculture/ Horticulture.

 

6. HEM Operator Gr.I (Trainee): 20 posts.
Qualification: 03yrs Diploma in Mechanical Engg/ Automobile Engg with Heavy vehicle driving license with relevant experience of one year in operation of heavy earth moving vehicle.

 

7. HEM Mechanic Gr.I (Trainee): 5 posts.
Qualification: 03yrs Diploma in Mechanical/ Instrumentation Engg. with Heavy Vehicle Driving License and relevant experience of minimum one year.

 

8. Mechanic cum-Operator (Trainee): 30 posts.
Qualification: 03yrs Diploma in Mechanical Engg. with Heavy Vehicle Driving license and relevant experience of minimum one year.

 

9. Electrician Gr.I (Trainee): 14 posts.
Qualification: 03yrs Diploma in Electrical Engg. with heavy vehicle driving license and statutory certificate issued under Karnataka (such as Electrical supervisor/ Wireman) and relevant experience of minimum one year

 

10. Technician Gr.I (Electronics) (Trainee): 1 post.
Qualification: 03yrs Diploma in Electronics Engg. and relevant experience of minimum one year

 

11. Quality Control Assistant Gr.III (Trainee): 06 posts.
Qualification: Graduate in B.Sc (Chemistry/ Geology) and one year experience in sampling work

 

12. Junior Assistant Gr.III (Trainee): 35 posts.
Qualification: Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Business Mngt. and a minimum Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and/ or Hindi and relevant experience of minimum one year.
Typing knowledge in Kannada language and knowledge of computer/office equipment operations is desirable.

 

13. Assistant Lab Technician Gr.III (Trainee): 3 posts.
Qualification: Graduate in Science plus Certificate/ Diploma in Medical Lab Technician plus Certificate/ Diploma in Medical Lab Technician.
Experience: 2yrs relevant experience in case of Graduate and 5yrs relevant experience in case of Diploma holders. See officially released advertisement for more details.

 

14. Maintenance Assistant (Mechanical) (Trainee): 125 posts.
Qualification: ITI in the trades of Fitter, Millwright, Fitter (MWF), Welder, Pump Mechanic (PM), Plumber (P), Turner, Auto-Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic and Machinist. AND relevant experience of minimum one year. Possessing of light vehicle driving license is desirable.

 

15. Maintenance Assistant (Electrical) (Trainee): 23 posts.
Qualification: ITI in the trade of Electrician and relevant experience of minimum one year. Possessing light vehicle driving license and wireman permit is desirable.

 

16. Field Attendant (Trainee): 24 posts.
Qualification: Middle standard/ Class VIII pass or ITI

 

17. Ward Attendant (Male/Female), Gr.II (Trainee): 5 posts.
Qualification: Middle/Class VIII pass and one year experience in a hospital ward is essential.

 

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for the posts of Junior Officers/Trainee and maximum 30 years for rest of all posts. Age will be counted as on 10/03/2015. Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates. Relaxation for Ex-servicemen will be as per govt. norms.

 

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test/ Skill Test/ Physical Eligibility Test. Exact date and venue will be intimated in due course.
Candidates selected for the above posts will be placed initially as a “Trainee” and after successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed on regular basis.

Application Fee: Candidates should enclose a crossed Demand Draft of Rs.100/- in case of posts under Junior Officer/Trainee and Rs.50/- for rest of all posts, as fee with the Application form. The Draft should be drawn in favour of NMDC Limited, Donimalai Iron Ore Mine, payable at State Bank of Mysore, Donimalai/ Canara Bank, Donimalai.

Candidates should write their name, date of birth and post applied for on the back side of the Draft.

NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST AND PWD CANDIDATES.
