NMDC Limited is recruiting 166 Trainee as Maintenance Assistant (Mechanical/ Electrical) and Field Attendant (Trainee) for its Bailadila Iron Ore Mine in Chhattisgarh. Eligible Indian citizens may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF below). Employment Notification No. 1/2014. Educational qualification norms and brief details are given below —
1. Maintenance Assistant (Trainee) (Mechanical)
Number of Vacancies: 80 Nos. (Gen—41 SC—09; ST—25; OBC—05)
Qualification: ITI trade certificate in Welding, Auto Electrical, Machinist, Fitter, Motor Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic and Turner.
2. Maintenance Assistant (Trainee) (Electrical)
Number of Vacancies: 30 Nos. (Gen—14; SC—4; ST—10; OBC—2)
Qualification: ITI certificate as Electrician
3. Field Attendant (Trainee)
Number of Vacancies: 56 Nos. (Gen—27; SC—7; ST—18; OBC—4)
Qualification: Class VIII pass.
Age Limit (For all posts): Maximum 30yrs as on 01-06-2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Trade Test and Interview. For the post of Field Attendant (Trainee), there will be Physical eligibility test instead of Trade Test.
Selected candidates will be go for Training for duration of one and half years. Upon successful completion of training candidates will be absorbed on regular basis.
Stipend during training period will be as follows —
For Maintenance Assistant (MEch/ Elect.): Rs.9000/- and Rs.9500/- for first year and next six months respectively.
For Filed Attendant: Rs.9000/- and Rs.9500/- for first year and next six months respectively.
Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies shall pay Application Fee of Rs.50/- in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of – NMDC Limited, BIOM Bacheli Complex, Payable at Bacheli.
