Govt. of West Bengal- Judicial Department is appointing “Non-Official Marriage Officer” for the different Blocks, Municipality and Corporations of below listed Districts of West Bengal. Higher Secondary pass boys and girls may apply for the posts. Details in brief given below—
Post: Non-Official Marriage Officer
Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board. Candidate should have workable knowledge of computer and well conversant with the language of the area which he/she likes to apply.
Age: Candidate should be within 25yrs to 40yrs as on 20-01-2012
Name of Districts—Darjeeling, Birbhum, Cooch Behar, Bankura, Nadia, Uttar Dinajpur, Jalpaiguri, Burdwan, Kolkata Corporation, Purulia, Hoogly, Malda, Howrah, Dakshin Dinajpur, Mursidabad, Paschim Medinipur, Purba Medinipur, South 24 Parganas, North 24parganas. The candidate should be permanent resident of the local area for which he/she is willing to apply. Government employees were not eligible to apply.
The applicant should arrange an office accommodation for not less than 100 sq.ft. and should provide a Telephone connection at his/her own cost.
The applicant should wills to work for minimum 5days in a week from 10 am to 5:30pm.
Candidates willing to apply for Non-Official Marriage Officer should submit application for only one area. Applying for more than one can lead cancellation of form.

A person who has already applied in pursuance of the earlier advertisement need not apply afresh for the same area. Enclosed the following documents with application form—
- Attested copies of certificates in respect of his/her age , qualification and proof of residence duly certified by Gram Prodhan/ Councillor / Group-A officer of Central/State Government.
- Attested 3 (three) passport size black and white photographs (one pasted on the top right side of the application and other two enclosed with the application).
- 2 (two) self-addressed envelope 22cm.x 10cm.
