EXECUTIVE TRAINEES
No. of Vacancies: 200 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 85 posts (UR-35, SC-16, ST-11, OBC-23)
ii) Chemical: 15 posts (UR-06, SC-03, ST-02, OBC-04)
iii) Electrical: 50 posts (UR-20, SC-10, ST-06, OBC-14)
iv) Electronics & Communication: 15 posts (UR-06, SC-03, ST-02, OBC-04)
v) Instrumentation: 08 posts (UR-03, SC-02, ST-01, OBC-02)
vi) Civil: 27 posts (UR-11, SC-05, ST-03, OBC-08)
Educational Qualification: i) BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engineering)/Five year Integrated M Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in one of the engineering disciplines.
ii) Candidates must have a valid GATE-2017 or GATE-2018 Scores in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-26 years as on 18/04/2018. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.35,000/- per month.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Personal Interview and GATE 2017/2018 Score.
Candidates selected for the post will be on training for a period of one year. Candidates who will complete one year orientation training successfully, will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C and will be liable to be posted at one of the Units/Sites/Upcoming Projects/Offices of NPCIL located in different parts of the country.
