Educational Qualification:
BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engineering)/5-year Integrated M Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in one of the 6 engineering disciplines mentioned in the Table below from a University/ Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC. A minimum of 60% marks means the marks as per the ordinances of the respective university.
Applicants must have a valid GATE-2021 or GATE-2022 or GATE-2023 Score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.
Age Limit:
General/EWS – 26 years
OBC (NCL) (relaxation – 03 years) – 29 years
SC/ST (relaxation – 05 years) – 31 years
Pay Scale:
After successful completion of training, Executive Trainee will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C in Group ‘A’

Selection Process:
- Shortlisting of candidates for personal interviews for the posts of Executive Trainee 2023 will be done in the order of merit drawn on the basis of valid GATE 2021, GATE 2022, and GATE 2023 Scores by applying the ratio of 1:12. If there are more than 01 candidates with the same cut-off mark (while shortlisting for interview), then all the candidates with the same mark will be shortlisted for interview.
- Candidates obtaining valid GATE 2021, GATE 2022, and GATE 2023 scores shall only be eligible. Please note that only GATE 2021, GATE 2022 and GATE 2023 score is valid for this recruitment exercise in NPCIL under this advertisement. GATE score of 2020 or of previous GATE examination shall not be entertained.
- Equal weightage will be given to GATE 2021, GATE 2022, and GATE 2023 Scores.
How To Apply:
The application process is online through the official website. Candidates are advised to indicate their preference of venue to appear for an interview in the online application form. However, NPCIL reserves the right to allocate a Date/Venue for an interview as it may deem fit which will be duly informed to the candidate and no further request for any change shall be entertained in this regard.
Venue of Interview:
Interviews will be conducted at Anushaktinagar, Mumbai-Maharashtra, Narora Atomic Power Station (NAPS)-Uttar Pradesh, Madras Atomic Power Station (MAPS)-Tamil Nadu, and Kaiga Generating Station (KGS)-Karnataka.
