NTPC Limited is recruiting 47 “Assistant Chemist Trainees (ACT)” and “Accountant” for its Project/ Stations. Selection of the candidates will be through All India Online Test. Educational norms and eligibility criteria in brief details are given below —
1. ASSISTANT CHEMIST TRAINEES (ACT)
Number of Vacancies: 09 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—2; ST—2; OBC—2)
Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Chemistry with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.
Age Limit: 27yrs as on 10/02/2014.
Training/ Emoluments: Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of one year at NTPC’s project/ stations/ institutions. During training period, stipend of Rs.20600 per month will be paid. After successful completion of training, such candidates will be placed in the scale of Rs.20600—46500 per month.
2. ACCOUNTANT
Number of Vacancies: 38 Nos. (Gen—21; SC—5; ST—2; OBC—10)
Educational Qualification: Inter CA/ ICWA and one year post qualification experience in relevant areas.
Age Limit: 30yrs as on 10/02/2014
Pay Scale: Rs.15500—34500
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Selection steps: For the post of Asst. Chemist Trainee and Accountant, candidates will have to undergo two hours objective type online written examination/ test.
Qualified candidates from the online test will be called for interview. list of such candidates will be published on the official website of NTPC — www.ntpccareers.net.
The selection test will be held in – Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bhopal, Patna, Lucknow, Jaipur and Bhubaneswar.
The All India Online Test is scheduled on 13/04/2014 (Sunday). The test will be taken in Hindi or English. Candidates may download their Admit card from 01/04/2014 to 13/04/2014. Refer the below given Advt. (PDF) for details.

Registration Fee: Candidates shall pay Registration Fee of Rs.300/– through bank transaction from State Bank of India, in a specially opened account No. on behalf of NTPC (See the pdf below for account numbers).
The fee is to be paid by means of pay-in-slip which can be downloaded from the NTPC’s website.
NO REGISTRATION FEE FOR SC/ST AND PWD CANDIDATES.
After successful submission of Online Application form, candidates must print-out the system generated Registration slip which will appear on computer screen with unique Registration No.
The print-out shall be retained safely for future correspondence and verification. Do not send any print-out or documents to NTPC by post.
