The District Judge, Ganjam, Berhampur is recruiting 127 Group-C Jr. Clerk/Copyist, Jr. Typist, Stenographer Grade-III, Group D posts, Peon and etc. Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies may submit their application on prescribed format along with testimonials (See PDF below). DISTRICT JUDGE, GANJAM (ODISHA) INVITES APPLICATION FOR 127 GR-‘C’, CLERK/ COPYIST, TYPIST, STENO, GROUP-D, ETC. LAST DATE – 08/10/2014
1. GROUP-C POSTS. TOTAL VACANCIES: 93 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows:-
(i) Jr. Clerk/Copyist: 71 Nos. (Gen-36; SC-11; ST-16 & SEBC-8)
(ii) Jr. Typist: 11 Nos. (Gen-6; SC-2; ST-2 & SEBC-1)
(iii) Stenographer Grade-III: 9 Nos. (Gen-5; SC-1; ST-2 & SEBC-1)
(iv) Salaried Admin: 2 Nos. (Gen-1 & ST-1)
Educational Qualification:
(i) For Jr.Clerk/Copyist/Jr.Typist/Stenographer: 12th pass and must have Diploma in Computer Application. Typing Speed of 40wpm required for Jr. Typist and 80 wpm for Stenographer Grade-III.
(ii) For Salaried Admin Post: 10th pass have passed Revenue Inspector Training.
Note: Candidates must be able to speak, read and write Oriya and also must have Oriya as a subject in Class 10th.
2. GROUP-D POSTS. TOTAL VACANCIES: 34 Nos.
(i) Peon, Orderly Peon, Sessions Guard, Malkhana Peon, Sweeper, NWM and Choukidar: 34 Nos. (Gen-17; SC-5; ST-8 & SEBC-4).
Educational Qualification (for Group-D posts): Class-VIII/8th pass and should have knowledge in Oriya and English language.
Age Limit:
(i) For Group ‘C’: Below 18 to Above 32 yrs as on 08.10.2014.
(ii) For Group ‘D’: Below 18 to Above 37 yrs as on 08.10.2014.
The upper age relaxation for SC/ST/SEBC/Women-5 yrs, PH-10 yrs and others as per Govt. norms.
Pay Scale:
(i) for Group C posts: Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900 for Jr. Clerk/Copyist/Typist, Rs.2400 for Stenographer Grade-III and Rs.2000 for Salaried Admin. Other Allowances will be given as per Govt. norms.
(ii) for Group-D posts: Rs.4750/- to Rs.14680/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1500/- per month plus other allowances.
Application Fee: The candidates must pay Rs. 100/- in shape of the Treasury Challan under the head “0070- Other Administrative Services -01-Administration of Justice-501-Services and Services fees – 9904650-Law Department – 9916730- Examination Fees for recruitment conducted by Orissa District and Subordinate Courts”
Candidates should enclose the original challan along with the application form.
Note: There is no Application Fee for all Group-D posts. No fee for SC/ST candidates.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Computer/Practical Test (wherever applicable) and Viva-Voce Test. Exact Date, Time and Interview for examination will be intimated in due course.
