SSB, ODISHA POLICE IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 1370 POSTS OF CONSTABLES. LAST DATE — 04.01.2016
1. Constables: 1370 Nos. UR-685(Men-582, Women-103); SEBC-154 (Men-131, Women-23); SC-223 (Men-189, Women-34.); ST-308 (Men-262, Women-46).
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary pass.
Candidates should be able to speak, read and write Odia and must have passed Odia as one of the subjects in the High School Certificate Examination.
Physical Measurement:-
(I) For male :– Height-168cm and for ST,SC 163 cm.; Weight- 55kg and for ST,SC 50 kg; Chest (un Expanded) – 79cm and for SC,ST-76cm ; Chest (Expanded) -84 cm and for ST,SC-81cm.
(II) For Female:– Height-158cm and for ST,SC-153 cm; Weight-47.5kg and for ST,SC-45 kg
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-23 years as on 01.01.2015
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will be selected through Written Examination, Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test.
Physical Measurement and Physical efficiency test will be on 17.01.2016 (7am)

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.150/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank Draft / Postal Order drawn in favour of concerned Supdt. of Police of the district, payable at Respected District.
NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC, ST CANDIDATES.
