India Post – Odisha postal Circle, Bhubaneswar is recruiting 332 Posts of Postman, Mail Guard and Multi Tasking Staff. Notification No. RE/3O-22/2033. ODISHA POSTAL CIRCLE REQUIRES 332 POSTMAN, MAIL GUARD AND MULTI TASKING STAFF. LAST DATE – 24/09/2014 AND 30/09/2014.

Name of the Posts and No. of vacancies:
1. Postman: 241Nos. (OC-146; SC-44, ST-51 & OBC-02)
2. Mail Guard: 08 Nos. (OC-02; SC-02; ST-04)
3. Multi Tasking Staff: 83 Nos. (OC—50; SC—08; ST—19; OBC—06)

 

Education Qualification (for both posts): Class 10/Matric pass for the post of Postman / Mail Guard AND Matriculation or ITI pass for the post of Multi Tasking Staff.

 

Pay Scale (for both posts): Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200 per month and Grade Pay Rs.2000/ Rs.1800 per month plus other allowances as per norms.

 

Age Limit:
For Postman/ Mail Guard: 18 to 27 as on 24.09.2014.
For Multi Tasking Staff: 18 to 27 years as on 30.09.2014
The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3Yrs and Ex-Ser/ others as per Govt. norms.
