Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) is recruiting 120 Nos. “Jr. Maintenance & Operator Trainee (JMOT)” and “Jr. Telecom Technician Trainee (JTTT)”. JR. MAINTENANCE & OPERATOR TRAINEE (JMOT): 103 Nos. (Gen—40; SC—12; ST—24; SEBC—27). Out of total vacancies 4nos. reserved for PWD candidates
Education Qualification: Higher Secondary pass or equivalent and NTC certificate in Electrician Trade with minimum 60% of marks (50% marks for SC/ST categories)
JR. TELECOM TECHNICIAN TRAINEE (JTTT): 17 Nos. (Gen—08; SC—02; ST—02; SEBC—05). Out of total vacancies 1nos. reserved for PWD candidates.
Education Qualification: Higher Secondary pass or equivalent and NTC certificate in Electronics Mechanic Trade with minimum 60% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST categories)
Age Limits: candidates must be above 18yrs and below 32yrs as on 01-03-2013. Upper age relaxation in case of SC, ST,SEBC, Ex-Serviceman and Woman candidates is 5yrs and 10yrs in case of PWD candidates.
Selected candidates for above any one of the post shall be paid Consolidate Pay: Rs.6000/- per month during the training period of One year. On successful completion of the training, the candidates will be appointed as Semi Skilled Assistant (Electrical/Telecom) in the Semi Skilled –A category in the respective cadre on probation for 1 (one) year in the Scale of Pay of Rs 5200-20,200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2100/- with other allowances
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. The Written Test will be conducted at Bhubaneswar.
Shortlisted candidates who qualify Written Test will be called for Interview. Written Test will be of Multiple Choice Question from — General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Test.

Application fee: Candidates must pay Processing fee of Rs.200/- by means of an A/c Payee Demand Draft drawn in favour of – DDO, Hqrs Office, payable at Bhubaneswar.
Mention full name and Registration Number on the reverse of the Demand Draft.
SC/ST candidates from the State of Odisha are exempted from paying any fees.
