INSPECTOR OF MOTOR VEHICLE/ ADDITIONAL R.T.O (ENFORCEMENT)/ ASSISTANT WORKS ENGINEER
No. of vacancies: 21 Nos. (UR-12; SC-02; ST-07) (Out of total vacancies 07 posts are reserved for Women candidates.)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Automobile Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering with Automobile engineering as a subject.
Candidates should possess a license to drive a Transport Vehicle. In case candidates do not have driving licence then such candidates will have to undergo driving training during their probation period after joining the post.
Age Limit: Above 21yrs and under 32 years as on 01/04/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.9,300/- – Rs.34,800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4600/- plus other allowances as per norms.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, SEBC, Women candidates and Ex-Serviceman.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be trough Written Examination and Viva Voce Test. The Written Examination will be held at Cuttack.
Candidates must be able to speak, read and write Odia and must have passed a test in Odia language equivalent to Middle English School standard.
