Name of the Posts: ASSISTANT SECTION OFFICER
1. Governor’s Secretariat: 11 Nos. (Gen-6; ST-2; SC-2 & SEBC-1)
2. State Secretariat: 800 Nos. (Gen-400; ST-180; SC-130 & SEBC-90)
Educational qualification (for both Secretariat): Degree in any discipline and candidates must have good knowledge in computer application.
Note: Candidates must be able to speak, read and write Odia and also must have studied Odia as a subject in Class 10th.
Pay Scale (For both Secretariat): Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4200/- per month plus other allowances as per norms.
Age limit (For both Secretariat): 21 to 32 as on 1.01.2014. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5 yrs, SEBC/Women/PWD/Ex-Ser-10 yrs.
Mode of Selection:
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Skill Test. Date, Time & Venue for the examination will be intimated in due course.

Upon submission of online application, the system generated registration slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates are required to take a print-out it and shall retain the same for future use.
Note: Candidates who have already applied earlier against the Advertisement No.08. Of 2012-2013 need not to apply again.
Application Fee: Candidates must be pay Rs.300/- at any branch of State bank of India. No Examination Fee for SC/ST of Odisha State.
Candidates should take a print out of online challan (Pay-in-Slip) for payment and must pay their fee at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). Fee Challan will be generated automatically upon submission of online application form.
