1. Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil)
Department wise Vacancies are as follows–
(i) Under H & U.D. Department: 134 Nos. (Gen-57; SC-24; ST-38 & SEBC-15)
(ii) Under W.R. Department (Major & Medium Irrigation wing): 291 Nos. (Gen-147; ST-111 & SEBC-33)
(iii) Under Works Department: 232 Nos. (Gen-109; SC-19; ST-78 & SEBC-26)
2. Assistant Executive Engineer (Mechanical)
(i) Under Water Resources Dept.: 25 Nos. (Gen-12; SC-05; ST-06 & SEBC-02)
Educational Qualification (for both posts): Degree in Engineering in Civil/Mechanical or an equivalent qualification or candidates must be an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers of India in Civil/Mechanical.
The Candidates must have ability to speak, read and write Odia or passed Language Subject, i.e Odia, in 10th class or upto Graduation Level.
Age Limit (for both posts): 21 to 32 years as on 01.01.2015. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, OBC is 3 years , PWD is 10 years and others as per govt. norms.
Pay Scale (for both Engineers posts): Rs.15600/- to 39100/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.5400/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
Method of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Viva voce Test/Interview.
The Written Test will be held at Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar, Balaspore, Berhampur and Sambalpur.

Upon successful submission of online application form the system generated registration slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out two copies of online application form, out of which one copy should be send at the given address along with attested copies of testimonials so as to reach on or before 12.06.2015.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.300/ through fee challan only at any branches of State Bank of India (SBI).
No Fee for SC/ST of Odisha/PWD candidates.
Last Date and Address: The Print out of the filled application form along with attested copies of testimonials in support of qualification, proof of age and etc shall reach on or before 12.06.2015 at the following address — The Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K.
