VETERINARY ASSISTANT SURGEON, CLASS -II (GROUP-B)
No. of Vacancies: 364 Nos. (UR-226, SC-54, ST-84 out of which 121 posts id reserved for Women.)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science or its equivalent qualification.
Candidates must have registered himself / herself under the Odisha Veterinary Practitioners Act.
Candidates shall be able to speak, read and write Odia fluently and must have passed at least an examination in Odia Language equivalent to that of Middle English School Standard.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-32 years as on 01/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 and Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Viva-voce Test.
Written Examination will be held at Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur.
Candidates selected for the post will be on probation for a period of two years.

One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 30/11/2017
