Under Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Govt. of India—National Informatics Centre (NIC) is recruiting 62 persons for the post of “Scientific Officer/ Engineer-SB (Programmer)”. Graduate Engineers may apply.
Name of the Post: Scientific Officer/ Engineer-SB (Programmer)
Vacant Post: 62 Nos. (Gen-31, SC-6; ST-9; OBC-16)
Qualification: Graduates done candidates with 60% marks in aggregate may apply for the post. Candidates who have done M.Sc in Computer Science/ MCA/ Equivalent examination with specialisation in computer Science or Computer related areas with 60% marks were also eligible to apply.
Candidates who have passed Master Degree in Physics/Maths/Statistics/Operation Researches with at least 60% marks followed by either post graduates Diploma course in Computer Science with minimum 60% marks from any recognised Institutes or University may also apply.
Job will on temporary basis of 2 years but likely to increase. Posting will be done anywhere in India.
Age limit: should be between 18-30yrs as on 05-08-2011. Age relaxation is there as per norms and rules of govt.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 to Rs.34800 per month and Grade Pay: Rs.4600
Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected on basis of Written Test or On-line Examination. Exam will be held on 4th August 2011 at Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Ranchi, Guwahati and Port Blair.
Successful candidates will be call for Interview which may start from 17th October at New Delhi. During Interview, candidates should carry all the documents in Original and Attested copies.
There will be medical test for selected candidates as prescribed by Govt. of India and then only candidates will be appointed.
