Director of Textiles, Govt. of West Bengal, Handlooms, Spinning Mills, Silk Weaving & Handloom Based Handicrafts Division, Kolkata—01, is recruiting the following posts on contractual basis for the project, viz- “Comprehensive Handloom Development Programme in Dakhsin Dinajpur District”. Posts — Project Officer, Technical Officer, Sub Asst. Engineer (Civil), Steno Typists, Accountant cum Cashier, Record Keeper cum Computer Operator and Office Peon. The initial contractual period will be of one year which may further extended on basis of performance of the candidates. Eligibility norm and criteria in brief is given below—
1. Project Officer: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Diploma in Handloom Technology or Diploma in Textile Technology from a recognised Institute and Candidates must have English and Bengali Speaking/ writing ability.
Consolidated remuneration: Rs.3.6 Lakh per annum.
2. Technical Officer: 4 Nos.
Qualification: in Handloom Technology or Diploma in Textile Technology from a recognised Institute and Candidates must have Bengali Speaking/ writing ability.
Consolidated remuneration: Rs.2.40 Lakh per annum.
3. Sub Assistant Engineer (Civil): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering and knowledge of Bengali language in writing and speaking.
Consolidated remuneration (Per Annum): Rs.2.40 Lakh per annum.
4. Steno Typist: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and knowledge of English Stenography with minimum speed of 80 words per minute and Computer Typing with speed of 30 words per minute
Must have knowledge of Bengali language in writing and speaking.
Consolidated remuneration: Rs.15000/- per month.
5. Accountant cum Cashier: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and knowledge on maintenance of Accounts and Cash handling.
Must have knowledge of Bengali language in writing and speaking.
Consolidated remuneration: Rs.12000/- per month.
6. Record Keeper cum Computer Operator: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and knowledge in record keeping and computer typing.
Must have knowledge of Bengali and English language in writing and speaking.
Consolidated remuneration: Rs.13000/- per month.
7. Office Peon: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Secondary Examination pass from a recognised Board/ Council and knowledge of Bengali language in writing and speaking.
Consolidated remuneration: Rs.10000/- per month.
Candidates with experience in relevant field is desirable.
Age limits (For all above posts): Candidates must be within 40 years. Maximum 45yrs in case of Candidates who have experience in relevant field.
