Malwa Gramin Bank, Sangrur, is inviting online application for 27 posts of Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) from the eligible candidates who have qualified Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012. Interested applicant may apply Online within below prescribed dates. Qualification norms and eligibility in brief is given below —
1. Officer Scale-I: 12 Nos. (Gen—9; ST—2; OBC—1)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy
Candidates must be proficient in local language i.e. Punjabi and must have passed “Punjabi” as one of the subjects at matriculation/ 10th standard
Computer knowledge will be an added qualification.
2. Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 15 Nos. (Gen—8; ST—7). Out of which 2nos. is for Ex-Servicemen.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Candidates must be proficient in local language i.e. Punjabi and must have passed “Punjabi” as one of the subjects at matriculation/ 10th standard
Computer knowledge is desirable.
Essential Requirement: Beside above mentioned educational qualification, candidates must have appeared and qualified Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS for RRBs in September 2012.

Pay Scales —
Officer Scale: Rs.14500—25700 plus other allowances as per norms.
Office Asst. (Multipurpose): Rs.7200—19300 plus other allowances as per norms.
Age (As on 01-06-2012)
For Officer Scale- I: Above 18 years – Below 28 years
For Office Assistant: Between 18 years and 28 years
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be made through Personal Interview only. Only shortlisted candidates, on basis of performance in CWE, will be called.
The Interview will be held at Patiala center and the address of the venue will be advised in the call letters. The address of the venues will also be displayed in the Bank’s website one week before the dates for commencement of Interviews.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- (Rs.20 in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) by means of fee payment challan through any branch of Malwa Gramin Bank or State Bank of Patiala. Candidates may print-out the fee challan from the bank’s website.
There is no need to send fee challan’s copy or Application form in hard copy to anywhere. Verification will be done during Interview, if called.
