Uttaranchal Gramin Bank is recruiting 103 Officers and Assistant. Graduate pass in any stream boys/girls can apply for the post. Speaking ability in Hindi is most and should have knowledge in English. Candidates with knowledge in computer will be given preference first. Details mentioned below.
Post: Officer Scale-I (Post code: 01)
Qualification and others: Graduate pass boys/girls in any stream can apply for the post. Pay scale per month will be Rs.14500-25700. Total vacant post is 51 nos. (Gen-26; OBC-13, SC-8; ST-4) out of which there is 2 for PH Candidates.
Post: Office Assistant (Post code: 02)
Qualification and others: Graduate pass boys/girls in any stream can apply for the post. Pay scale per month is Rs. 7200-19300. Total vacant post is 52 nos. (Gen- 34, OBC-7, SC-9; ST-2) out of which there is 2 for PH and 5 for Ex-serviceman.
For both above mentioned posts, the candidates should have ability and knowledge in Hindi and English Language. Preference will be given to the candidates who knows computer.
Age limit for both of the post should be between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 01.09.2010. As age relaxation, OBC candidates will receive 3 years and Scheduled candidates 5yrs and PH candidates 10yrs.
Selection procedure of candidates: Candidates will be selected through written test. For the post of “Officer in Scale-I” the written test will be held on 17th April and for the post of “Office Assistant” the written test will be on 10th April 2011.
The questions in written test will be on following topics: (i) Reasoning Ability, (ii) Numerical Ability, (iii) General Knowledge and (iv) General English/ General Hindi. There will be total 200 nos. questions of 200 marks. Time allotted will be 2 and half hour. If selected will be called for Interview.

Before applying online, candidates will have to deposit fee of Rs.325 (For SC/ST, PH and Ex-serviceman: Rs. 75 only). Fee can be deposited on any CBS branch of State Bank of India through Challan, challan can be download from the official website of the Bank.
After making fee, candidates can visit the website and complete the registration form with accurate details of fee challan and others. Once the form is submitted make a print-out of the application that appears on the screen after submitting. Now the print-out copy and fee challan should be kept carefully and do not send this anywhere through post. During written test, candidates will need to produce the fee challan receipt along with call letter. Caste certificates and other documents will have to be produced during interview.
Points to Remember: 1. Candidates should have their own valid e-mail ID, if they do not have, they can create a new email id.
2. Application fee should be deposited through Fee Challan only which can be easily downloaded and printed from the bank’s website.
