527 Boys and Girls in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force on the Rank of “Officers/Lieutenant” after providing Training.

Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force is inviting application from 527 boys and girls for the post of “officers” after providing required training which may be of 9 months to 2 years 11 months’ duration.
Candidates were invited in the following division – Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. –

Eligibility to apply in division of
Indian Military Academy: 250 nos.
Qualification: Graduate candidate in any stream may apply. Height of the candidates should be 157.5 cm and Date of birth should be between 2-1-1989 to 1-1-1994.
The training will be of 18 months of “Gentlemen Cadet”. During training period candidate will have to pay Rs. 3750 as Training fee. If in case, any candidate is not in ability to pay the training fee than government will carry the training expenses of that candidate. Training will be started on the month of January.
After successful training, job will be given on the post of “Lieutenant”
Pay scale after the job is given – Rs. 8252 Rs. 10,050.

Officers Training Academy (Man and Woman): 175 nos. (Men) and 30 nos. (Women)
Qualification: Boys who have done degree course in any discipline may apply for “Officers Training Academy (for men)” and unmarried girls with degree course in any stream may apply for “Officers Training Academy (for women)”.
Candidates should be 157.5 cm in height and should have taken birth between 2-1-1988 to 1-1-1994.
The training will be of nine months of “Gentlemen Cadet”. During training period candidates will have to pay Rs. 4600. If in case, the monthly income of the Guardian of any candidate is below Rs. 1500 than government will pay the expenses of training.
Job will be given to the selected candidate on the post of “Lieutenant”. First six months of the job will be in probation and then will have to work in Short Service Commission for five years; later chances may appear to appear in Permanent Commission. Pay scale is same as above.
Training will be started on the month of April 2012.

Naval Academy: 40 nos. out of which- 02 in Hydro-Cadre, 38 in Gen services. From total numbers of seats 06 seats were reserved for candidates with “C” Certificate of N.C.C. (Naval Wing)
Qualification: Graduate done boys in any discipline but must have the subject – Physics or Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Higher Secondary exam level.
Birth of date of the candidates should be within 2-1-1991 (2-1-1989 for N.C.C.’s “C” (Naval Wing) Certificates holders) to 1-1-1994.
Engineering Graduate candidate were also eligible to apply. The training will be of five months. During training period the candidate will have to pay Rs. 3500. If income level of a guardian of any candidate is below Rs. 1500 than government will carry the expenses. Later candidate will have to go through the training of two and half years again as “Cadet”. If selected, the job will be given in the post of “Sub-lieutenant”.
Pay scale will be same as above and training will begin on the month of January 2012.

Air Force Academy: 32 nos.
Qualification: Graduate boys in any discipline but with subject – Physics or Mathematics, as a compulsory subject in higher secondary level exam may apply. Candidates should have taken birth between 2-1-1990 to 1-1-1994.
Engineering Graduate boys may also apply. Candidates should be 162.5 cm in height. Training will be of 74 weeks of Pilot in flying branch.
Pay scale is same as above. Training will begin on the month of January 2012.

For vacancies in all five divisions; this year final Degree course candidates may also apply.

Selection Steps: Candidates will be selected through “Combined Defence Services Examination (I)- 2012” of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
First there will be Written Test which may hold at the following centres of Easter India—Kolkata, Cuttack, Dispur (Guwahati), Patna, Shillong, Port Blair, Gangtok and Agartala. Questions will be Objective Types. More details can be found on the website of UPSC.

How to Apply: Apply Online from the site—http://upsconline.nic.in. Before applying online, candidate will require to deposit the exam fee of Rs.100 from any branch of State Bank of India. Candidates, if wish, can also pay the exam fee through online system by theirs Credit/ Debit card or by Net Banking facilities. Female candidates, SC/ST and PH candidates do not require any exam fee.
After submitting the online application form; computer generated registration form with unique Registration No. and ID will appear on the screen. Make print-out copy of this system generated form and keep safely for future use. There is no need to send any documents by Post. All the original documents along with Fee deposit receipt will have to be produce during Exam.
