Reserve Bank of India is recruiting 75 boys and girls for the post of “Officers in Grade-B (General). Master or Bachelor Degree holders with below given criteria may apply. Advt. No: 2A/2011-12.
Name of the Post: Officers in Grade-B (General)
Vacancies: 75 Nos. (Gen-38, SC-10, ST-09 and OBC-18) out of 75 seats 3 seats is reserved for PD
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (First Class) with a minimum 60% marks OR Master Degree (Second Class) with 55% marks. Candidates with Doctorate Degree with 50% marks in Master Degree OR Chartered/Cost Accountant/Company Secretary (ACS) with Bachelor Degree OR Post Graduate Diploma in Management/ MBA with Graduation/Bachelor’s Degree may also apply.
Required Age: 21yrs-30yrs as on 01-09-2011. For candidates possessing M.Phil and Ph.D. qualification—31yrs-33yrs. More details on bank’s website.
Selection steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Exam and Interview. Written Exam will be on two phases—Phase-I and Phase-II.
Phase-I will be of Objective Type Test which may hold on 18-12-2011 and Phase-II will be Descriptive Test which may hold on March/April-2012 at their respective centres.
Pay Scale: Basic pay of Rs.2100 permonth.
How to Apply: Candidates can submit the application form either through Online or Offline method. For Online- candidates can visit the bank’s website—http://onlinedr.rbi.org and for offline- candidates can download/prepare the application as per given format.
Online: To apply through online system, visit the bank’s website as mentioned above and fill the application details carefully. Before filling the form, be sure to make DD or IPO of Rs.100 (No fee for SC/ST and PD candidates) in favour of “Reserve Bank of India” and payable at “Mumbai”.
Enter the details of DD or IPO and other required information on the form and click the submit button. After submitting the application, a computer generated application form will appear on the screen. Make print-out of this system generated form and paste one recent size passport photo and sign on the given space. Now along with DD or IPO send it to the below given address by Ordinary Post within the given last date.
For Offline Mehtod: Candidates requires to prepare the application on A-4 size paper as per given format on bank’s website and then fill it with own handwriting.
Address to send the application: Print-out of system generated application or offline application should be send at the following address—“The General Manager, Reserve Bank of India Services Board, Post Bag No.14501, Mumbai Central Post Office, Mumbai-400008” by Ordinary post only.
Last Dates: last date of online application- 26th sept.2011 and last date to reach the application form by ordinary post—3rd Oct.2011.
