Oil India Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
• All courses should be recognized by the Government of India.

Oil India General Manager Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification

General Manager (Corporate Strategy)

• Candidates have to complete a Bachelor’s Degree / Post-graduation in Geoscience from any recognized University/institute.
• Also having a minimum of 20 years post-qualification experience.
• Candidates with a Ph.D. / MBA degree from reputed institutes will be preferred.

General Manager (Business Development)

• Candidates have to complete a Bachelor’s Degree / Post-graduation in Geoscience / Post-graduation in Economics from any recognized University/institute.
• Also having a minimum of 20 years post-qualification experience.
• Candidates with a Ph.D. / MBA degree from reputed institutes will be preferred.

Oil India Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

The candidate’s upper age limit is 50 years as of 22.03.2024. Age relaxation will be as per Government guidelines. However, considering all applicable age relaxations the maximum upper age of the applicant shall not exceed 54 years in all cases.

Age should be as per Birth Certificate / Matriculation/10th Standard pass certificate indicating date of birth, or mark sheet of Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent issued by Central/State Board indicating date of birth in support of their claim of age. No other document will be accepted for verification of date of birth.

There will be no upper age limit for the internal candidates of OIL who are otherwise eligible to apply against the above-mentioned posts.

Oil India Recruitment 2024 Salary / Pay Scale

Pay Scale: Rs.1,20,000- 2,80,000/-.

• Besides the Basic Pay and Industrial pattern of DA, the other benefits include HRA or Company accommodation, free medical benefits for self & dependents, Gratuity/PF, House Building Loan, Vehicle Loan, Group Insurance, etc. as per the rules of the company.
• The provisionally selected candidate for the post will have to serve a probationary period of one year and will be confirmed in writing after successful completion of the same.
• The approximate total emoluments in Grade G at a minimum of scale will be approximately Rs.2,20,000 per month.

Oil India Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Personal Interview (PI):

If you’re shortlisted for the job mentioned in Section A (which includes details about the job, vacancies, qualifications, and age limit), you’ll need to attend a personal interview.

Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME):

• If you’re provisionally selected after the interview, you’ll have to undergo a medical examination before joining. This examination will be conducted by the Medical Board of OIL Hospital, Duliajan.

Accuracy in Information:

• Make sure all the information you provide during the application process is accurate, complete, and truthful.
• Providing incomplete or false information will disqualify you from the selection process.
• If it’s discovered at any point, even after you’ve been selected, that you’ve provided false information, your appointment will be canceled.

Physical Fitness

Medical Fitness Requirement:

• Before you can officially join the job, you need to be declared medically fit. This means you have to meet the health standards set by the company.
• You’ll undergo a medical examination at OIL Hospital, Duliajan, Assam. Alternatively, a government medical officer or an authorized officer from an approved hospital can conduct this examination.

Final Selection:

• Only after you’re declared medically fit by the Medical Board of OIL Hospital, Duliajan, you’ll be chosen to work with OIL.
• The decision of the Medical Board is the last word on whether you’re fit for the job or not.
