N.B: Candidates must have valid registration with Employment Exchanges of Tamil Nadu, Puduchery and Andhra Pradesh. Candidates registered with Tamil Nadu Employment Exchanges may apply for Chennai and Karikal Region, Candidates with Puduchery may apply for Karikal only and Candidates with Andhra Pradesh may apply for Rajamundry & Kakinada Region. Age Limits: Candidates must be between 18yrs to 30yrs as on 20/04/2013. For the post of Jr. Fireman, candidates must be between 18yrs to 27yrs. Age will be counted as on 20.04.2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST- 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman & any other Categories – As per Govt. norms
Eligible candidates will go through Written Test (Objective type) consisting of Technical / Discipline concerned & General awareness.
The candidates will have to qualify at each stage i.e. (1) Written Test, (2) Physical Standards measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Stenography Test/Typing Test, wherever applicable, and (3) in Interview separately and in aggregate, in any sequence as decided by ONGC, as per merit and criteria decided by the Management.
