Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Eastern Sector, Assam, is inviting application from the eligible Indian citizens who have valid registration in any of the Employment Exchanges located within the State of Assam, for various posts (see below). A-II LEVEL POSTS:
1. Technical Assistant GD.III (Chemistry): 16 Nos.
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry.

2. Assistant Technician (Civil): 6 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering

3. Assistant Technician (Electrical): 10 Nos.
Qualification: 3yrs Diploma in Electrical Engineering and should have valid certificate of Competency as Electrical Supervisor.

4. Assistant Technician (Instrumentation): 4 Nos.
Qualification: 3yrs Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering

5. Assistant Technician (Production): 54 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering / Petroleum Engineering.

6. Assistant Technician (Mechanical): 36 Nos.
Qualification: 3yrs Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

7. Nurse Gr.III: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate Degree in Nursing /Diploma in Nursing of 03 years and shall be registered with Nursing Council.

8. Medical Attendant Gr.III (Industrial Hygiene): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Diploma in Industrial Hygiene for 3 (three) years duration and shall be registered with council.

9. Asst. Rigman (Drilling): 7 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Petroleum Engineering.

10. Asst. Technician (Boiler): 5 Nos.
Qualification: 03 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with First class Boiler Attendant Certificate

A-I LEVEL POSTS: 
11. Jr. Technical Assistant (Chemistry): 3 Nos.
Qualification: B.Sc with Chemistry

12. Jr. Assistant Technician (Electrical): 21 Nos.
Qualification: Class 10 or equivalent with Science and Trade Certificate in Electrical Trade. Should have valid Certificate of Competency as Electrical Supervisor.

13. Jr. Assistant Technician (Diesel): 26 Nos.
Qualification: Class 10 or equivalent with Science and Trade certificate in Diesel.

14. Jr. Assistant Rigman (Drilling): 167 Nos.
Qualification: Class 10 or equivalent with Science and Trade Certificate Fitting or Mechanic Trade.

15. Jr. Assistant Technician (Production): 47 Nos.
Qualification: Class 10 or equivalent with Science and Trade Certificate in Fitting or Mechanic Trades.

16. Jr. Assistant Technician (Cementing): 4 Nos.
Qualification: Class 10 or equivalent with Science and Trade Certificate in Auto/Fitting or Mechanic Trades. Should have Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.

17. Jr. Assistant Technician (Welding): 7 Nos.
Qualification: Class 10 or equivalent with Science and Trade Certificate in Welding.

18. Jr. Assistant Technician (Machining): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Class 10 or equivalent with Science and Trade Certificate in Machining.

19. Jr. Assistant Technician (Fitting): 32 Nos.
Qualification: Class 10 or equivalent with Science and Trade Certificate in Fitting.

20. Jr. Fire Supervisor: 2 Nos.
Qualification: Intermediate with 6 months continuous experience in Fire Services. Valid Heavy Vehicles Driving Licence essential. Physical Standard as specified (See the PDF below)

21. Jr. Assistant (Steno-English): 2 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate with proficiency in typing speed of 30 w.p.m. and Shorthand at 80 w.p.m. Candidates shall have Certificate/ Diploma in of minimum duration 6 months in computer application (such as MS Office)

22. Jr. Assistant (Material Management): 3 Nos.
Qualification: B.Sc. with Physics or Maths as one of the subjects with proficiency in typing speed 30 w.p.m. with Certificate / Diploma of minimum duration of six months in Computer applications in the Office Environment.

23. Jr. Motor Vehicle Driver (Winch/ HV Operation): 15 Nos.
Qualification: High School or Class 10 and Driving Licence for Heavy Vehicle and 3 years driving Experience of heavy Vehicles.

W-1 LEVEL POSTS: 
24. Jr. Fireman: 16 Nos.
Qualification: High School or Class X with Fireman’s training of three months’ continuous duration. Valid Heavy Vehicles Driving Licence essential. Physical Standard as specified (See PDF below)

25. Health Care Attendant. Gr.I: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation with First Aid Certificate and six months experience as Technician in EGC/ CSSD/ Plaster/ Anaesthesia desirable.

Age Limit: 
For A1 and A2 level posts: Maximum 30yrs
For W1 level posts: Maximum 27yrs.
Age will be counted as on 17/06/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Pay Scale: 
1. A-II Level Posts: Rs.12000—27000/- plus other allowances as per norms.
2. A-I Level Posts: Rs.11000 – 24000/- plus other allowances as per norms.
3. W-I Level Posts: Rs.10000—18000/- plus other allowances as per norms.

Registration Fee: Rs.200/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Ex-Servicemen are exempted from fee.
Fee is to be paid through any branch of SBI by means of fee payment challan which can be downloaded from the official website of ONGC upon successful submission of online Application form.

A system generated Registration Slip with Registration No. & DOB and Fee Challan will appear on the computer screen upon successful submission of Online Application form. Candidates must print-out it.
The Unique Registration No. and Date of Birth will be used for future access Admit Card, Application Status and Result. etc.
One copy of system generated Registration Slip along with ONGC’s copy of SBI payment Challan in original and attested copies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualification, Age proof, Caste, Technical certificates and Etc., is to be sent at the following address by Ordinary Post only so as to reach on or before 05/07/2014 — “To The Advertiser (ONGC –ASSAM), Post Box No. 9248, Krishna Nagar Head Post Office, Delhi – 110051”.
