Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), MBA Basin, Recruitment & Promotion Section, Kolkata, is inviting application from the eligible candidates with valid registration at an Employment Exchange of the State of West Bengal, for recruitment of 18 Nos. – Assistant Technician (Electronics/ Instrumentation), Jr. Assistant Rigman (Drilling) and Health Care Attendant. ONGC, MBA BASIN KOLKATA, INVITES APPLICATION FOR 18 ASST. TECHNICIANS (ELECT/ INST) AND JR. ASSISTANT RIGMAN (DRILLING). Last Date – 27/11/2014
1. Assistant Technician (Electronics): 2 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Electronics/Telecom/E&T Engineering or M.Sc. in physics with Electronics.
Pay Scale: Rs. 12000 – 27000/- per month plus other allowances as per norms.
2. Assistant Technician (Instrumentation): 1 No. (Gen)
Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
Pay Scale: Rs. 12000 – 27000/- per month plus other allowances as per norms.
3. Junior Assistant Rigman: 14 Nos. (Gen—8; SC—3; ST—0; OBC—3)
Qualification: Matric with Science (10th Standard Board Exam) Pass. Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT in Fitting/ Diesel/ Instrumentation /Turner /Machining /Tractor/Motor Vehicle /Welding/Black Smithy /Boiler Attendant/Machinist Grinder.
Candidates should meet the following Physical Standard: Height—167cms; Weigth—58 Kgs (min); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) — 81cms/ 86cms. Vision – 6/6 without glasses and No Color/ Night blindness. Cut-off in Height/ Weight / Chest for SC/ST candidates is as per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs. 11000 – 24000/- per month plus other allowances as per norms.
4. Health Care Attendant: 1 No. (Gen)
Qualification: Matric/ Class 10 pass with certificate of First Aid. 06 months experience as technician in ECG /CSSD /Plaster /Anesthesia is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.10,000 – 18000/- per month plus other allowances as per norms.
Age Limit: (i) For Health Care Attendant — minimum 18yrs and maximum 27yrs and (ii) for rest of other posts – minimum 18yrs and maximum 30yrs. Age will be counted as on 27.11.2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5yrs and OBC is 03yrs. PwD candidates will be given a further relaxation of 10 years on the above maximum age limits.
Note: Candidates should possess a valid registration at an Employment Exchange of the State of West Bengal, for selection to the above mentioned posts.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Standard Test (applicable only for the Post of Junior asst Rigman(Drilling)) and Personal Interview.
The Written Test is tentatively scheduled on 11.01.2015 (Sunday). Exact date and venue of selection will be intimated in due course (See PDF below) through Admit card.
The Written test is scheduled to be conducted tentatively at Kolkata for the State of West Bengal.
Application Fee: Rs.300/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD and Ex-Servicemen. Bank charge of Rs.20/- shall be paid additionally by the candidates.
