1. Assistant Technician (Mechanical): 7 Nos. (Gen-3; OBC-2; SC-1; ST-1)
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Assistant Technician (Cementing): 6 Nos. (Gen-3; OBC-2; ST-1)
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/ Petroleum Engineering
3. Assistant Technician (Electrical): 17 Nos. (Gen-8; OBC-6; ST-3)
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering and should have certificate of competency as Electrical Supervisor
4. Assistant Technician (Production): 7 Nos. (Gen-5; OBC-2)
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Petroleum Engineering
5. Assistant Technician (Instrumentation): 11 Nos. (Gen-6; OBC-4; ST-1)
Qualification: Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering
6. Assistant Gd-III (Transport): 6 Nos. (Gen-5; OBC-1)
Qualification: Diploma in Auto/ Mechanical Engineering Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management/ Administration or Post Graduate. Candidates must have Heavy Vehicle driving licence.
7. Assistant Technician (Electronics): 36 Nos. (Gen-19; OBC-15; ST-2)
Qualification: Diploma in Electronics/ Telecom/ E&T Engineering OR M.Sc in Physics with Electronics.
8. Technician Assistant Gd.III (Chemistry): 2 Nos. (Gen-2; ST-1)
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry.
9. Assistant Gd.III (Materials Management): 2 Nos. (PWD candidates)
Qualification: Diploma in Materials Management / Inventory/Stock Control recognized by the State Board of Technical Education /One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management.
10. Assistant Gd.III (Accounts): 4 Nos. (Gen-1; PWD-3)
Qualification: PG Degree in Commerce / Graduate in Commerce with one year Diploma in Finance & Accounts/ICWA(Inter) /CA(Inter).
Pay Scale (for all above mentioned posts): Rs.12000—Rs.27000
N.B: Diploma course for above mentioned posts should be of 3 years duration.

Qualification: Class -10 pass with Science and must have Trade certificate in Fitting or Mechanic Trades from ITI.
12. Junior Assistant Technician (Electrical): 6 Nos. (Gen-3; OBC-1; SC-1; ST-1)
Qualification: Class 10 pass and must have ITI Trade certificate in Electrical as well as Certificate of Competency as Electrical Supervisor.
13. Junior Assistant Technician (Welding): 4 Nos. (Gen-3; OBC-1)
Qualification: Class 10 pass with Science and must have ITI Trade certificate in Welding.
14. Junior Assistant Technician (Machining): 10 Nos. (Gen-7; OBC-2; SC-1)
Qualification: Class 10 pass with Science and must have ITI Trade certificate in Machining.
15. Junior Fire Supervisor: 10 Nos. (Gen-5; OBC-3; SC-1; ST-1)
Qualification: Intermediate with 6 months experience in fire services, Driving License for Heavy Vehicles essential. Physical Tests and Driving Test of heavy vehicles will be there.
16. Junior Security Supervisor: 1 Nos. (OBC only)
Qualification: Intermediate with 6 months training / experience in Security. Physical Test ability will be there.

17. Field Operator (Crane Operations): 19 Nos. (Gen-10; OBC-5; SC-2; ST-2)
Qualification: Class 10 pass and with ITI trade certificate in Fitting/ Diesel Mechanic, Mechanic Diesel Vehicle/ Motor Vehicle/ Turner or Welding
OR Diploma in Mechanical/ Production with Valid heavy vehicle driving licence.
Physical Test will be taken for this post.
18. Field Operator (Drilling Operations): 12 Nos. (Gen-7; OBC-3; SC-1; ST-1)
Qualification: Class 10 pass with ITI Trade certificate in Fitting/ Diesel/ Turner/ Machining/ Welding OR Diploma in Mechanical/ Production.
Physical Test of candidates will be there.
Age limits (For all posts): between 18yrs to 30yrs as on 31/05/2012. Age relaxation is as per norms.
Application Fee: Rs.250 for General and OBC candidates and Rs.100 for SC/ST candidates. Application fee should be made in form of Bank Draft in favour of — “ONGC Ltd, Mumbai” and payable at “Mumbai”.
Candidates will be selected through Written Test and Personal Interview. There will be Physical Test, wherever applicable.
