1. OPERATOR-CUM-TECHNICIAN TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 302 Nos. (UR-121, SC-36, ST-79, OBC-36, EWS-30. Out of which, 12 posts are reserved for PWD and 44 posts for ESM)
Stream wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 80 posts
ii) Metallurgy: 100 posts
iii) Electrical: 80 posts
iv) Chemical: 10 posts
v) Ceramics: 10 posts
vi) Instrumentation: 22 posts
Educational Qualification: Matriculation and 03 years full time Diploma in Engineering with 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates) from recognized Institute in Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Ceramics and Instrumentation discipline.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 11/10/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.16800 — Rs.24110
2. OPERATOR-CUM-TECHNICIAN (BOILER)
No. of Vacancies: 08 Nos. (UR-03, SC-01, ST-02, OBC-01, EWS-01. Out of which, 01 post is reserved for ESM)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation and 3 years full time Diploma in Engineering with 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates) from recognized Institute with 1st Class Certificate of Boiler Competency.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 11/10/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.16800 — Rs.24110
3. ATTENDANT-CUM-TECHNICIAN TRAINEE (AITT)
No. of Vacancies: 153 Nos. (UR-62, SC-18, ST-40, OBC-18, EWS-15. Out of which, 06 posts are reserved for PWD and 22 posts for ESM)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation and passed All India Trade Test after completing the stipulated period of training as Trade Apprentices in an Integrated Steel Plant.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 11/10/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.15830 — Rs.22150
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The candidates selected for the posts of Operator-cum-Technician Trainee and Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee, will be placed on Training for a period of 02 years followed by 01 year of Probation. During the training period, candidates will be paid Consolidated Pay of Rs. 10700/- pm during 1st year & Rs. 12200/- pm during the 2nd year of training for the post of Operator-cum-Technician Trainee and for the post of Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee, candidates will be paid Consolidated Pay of Rs. 8600/-pm during 1st year and Rs.10000/-pm during the 2nd year of training.
The candidates selected for the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler) will be placed on Probation for 01 year.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 155 cms; Weight — 45 Kgs
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 143 cms; Weight — 35 Kgs
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Skill Test/ Trade Test.
