1. OPERATOR-CUM-TECHNICIAN TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 95 Nos. (UR-46, SC-10, ST-28, OBC-11. Out of which 16 posts are reserved for PWD & 14 posts for ESM)
Discipline wise vacancies:
i. Electrical- 20 posts
ii. Mechanical- 25 posts
iii. Metallurgy- 35 posts

Educational Qualification: Matriculation and three years full time Diploma in Engineering from recognized Institute in Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Ceramics & Instrumentation discipline with 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates).

2. OPERATOR-CUM-TECHNICIAN (BOILER)
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (UR-06, SC-01, ST-02, OBC-01. Out of which 01 post is reserved for PWD & 01 post of ESM)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation and three years full time Diploma in Engineering with 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates) from recognized Institute with 1st Class Certificate of Boiler Competency.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 18/02/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 16800- 24110/-
3. ATTENDANT-CUM-TECHNICIAN TRAINEE (AITT)
No. of Vacancies: 121 Nos. (UR-37, SC-23, ST-45, OBC-16. Out of which 22 posts are reserved for PWD & 17 posts for ESM)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation and passed All India Trade Test conducted by NCVT, Govt. of India after completing the stipulated period of training as Trade Apprentices in an Integrated Steel Plant.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 18/02/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15830- 22150/-
4. ATTENDANT-CUM-TECHNICIAN TRAINEE (ITI) – SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR SCHEDULE TRIBE (ST) CATEGORY CANDIDATES ONLY

The vacancies are for Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand.
The candidates selected for post of Operator-cum-Technician Trainee & Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee will be placed on Training for a period of two years followed by one year of Probation. The candidates will be paid consolidated Pay of Rs. 10700/- pm during 1st year of training and Rs. 12200/-pm during the 2nd year of training for the post of Operator-cum-Technician Trainee. For the post of Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee, candidates will be paid consolidated Pay of Rs. 8600/-pm during 1st year of training and Rs.10000/-pm during the 2nd year of training.
Candidates selected for post of Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler) will be placed on Probation for a period of one year.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 150 cms; Weight — 45 Kgs
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 143 cms; Weight — 35 Kgs
Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Skill Test/ Trade Test.
