OPSC PGT Recruitment Eligibility 2024

Educational Qualification: Educational Qualifications for the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Position:

1. Must have a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized University. Completion of a two-year Post Graduate Master’s Course or an integrated six-year course from a Regional College of Education recognized by NCERT is necessary, with a minimum of 50% marks.
2. Possession of a B.Ed. or an equivalent degree recognized by NCTE, New Delhi. B.Ed. is not mandatory for subjects without a B.Ed. courses.
3. Desirable to have a degree or diploma in Computer Application. A certificate from a recognized University or Institution is required.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 38 years.

Pay Scale: Rs.44,900/-

The selected candidates will be on Probation for two years.

Upper Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Serviceman and 10 years for the PWD category.
