Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) or its equivalent degree from any recognized University/College/Institution in India or abroad; possess required conversion certificates recognized by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) in case of degrees from foreign universities; and possess a valid Registration Certificate under the Odisha Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1970 (Section 21).
Age Limit
Candidates must be a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 47 years of age, i.e., born not earlier than 2nd January 1979 and not later than 1st January 2005. Persons with disabilities belonging to SEBC/SC/ST categories with 40% or more permanent disability are eligible for age relaxation of 10 years over and above 47 years.
