Opto Electronics Factory, Raipur, Dehradun, Under Ministry of Defence, is recruiting 60 persons in Trades of – Machinist, Optical Worker, Fitter (G/ I/ L), Turner, Painter, Electroplater, Grinder and Millwright in grade of Semi-skilled. Application form can be submitted by last 14th April 2012. Details below—

Fitter (G): 2 Nos (Gen)
Fitter (I): 5 Nos (Gen-4; ST-1)
Fitter (L): 4 Nos (Gen-3; OBC-1)
Turner: 7 Nos (Gen-5; SC-1; OBC-1)
Painter: 5 Nos (Gen-4; OBC-1)
Electroplater: 8 Nos. (Gen-7; OBC-1)
Grinder: 6 Nos. (Gen-5; SC-1)
Millwright: 4 Nos. (Gen-3; OBC-1)

Required Qualification: Candidates should have ITI Trade certificate in relevant trade or equivalent Diploma/ Certificate.

Age limit: Candidates should be between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of the application submission. Age relaxation— OBC-3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs. For Government service holder and Ex-Serviceman—as per norms.

Selection Steps: Candidates will be selected through Written test and Trade Test. Written Test will be of 100 marks on syllabus of respective trade for which candidates apply. It will be of Objective Types.
Trade test will be of 100 marks to test the skill of candidates in their relevant field. Trade test will be as per Trade Test Specification of the Semi-Skilled grade of the relevant trade.

How to apply: Application form can be prepared as per official issued format on plain paper. Along with application form enclose the following documents—

• Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order of Rs.50 in favour of—“The General Manager, Opto Electronics Factory, Raipur, Dehradun”. In case of Postal Order, it should be payable at– GPO/Dehradun, and in case of DD it should be – SBI Raipur, Dehradun-248008. SC/ST and PH candidates do not require to pay Application Fee.
• 3 Nos. recent passport size photograph (One copy paste on application form and self-singed on it in such a way that partly it fall on photograph and partly on form. the other two copies should be enclosed after writing Name and Post/Trade applied for on back side of its.).
• Attested copies of Educational Marksheet/ certificate and Trade certificate/ diploma
• Attested copy of Caste Certificate, if SC/ST or OBC
• Attested copy of PH certificate in case of PH candidates.
• Attested copy of Discharge certificate, in case of Ex-Serviceman.
• Attested copy of Age proof Certificate (Madhyamik certificate can be given for proof)
• Attested copy of Experience certificate and other documents, if any.
• All the above mentioned documents should be properly attested by Gazetted Officer only.

On the top of envelope which contains Application Form should be super script in capital letter— “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ………………….”.

Admit card for written test will be sent to the shortlisted candidates by post. Job will be given to the qualified candidates at Opto Electronics Factory, Raipur, Dehradun but authority may, if wish, can post the candidates to any other Ordnance Factory in India.
