Opto Electronics Factory, Raipur, is recruiting 36 candidates for the posts in Industrial Cadre (Semi-Skilled), in the trades of – Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Turner, Optical Worker and Millwright. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —
INDUSTRIAL CADRE (SEMI-SKILLED) POSTS. VACANCIES AS PER TRADE WISE. —
1. Fitter (I): 9 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—3; ST—1; OBC—1)
2. Machinist: 7 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—2; ST—0; OBC—1)
3. Electrician: 1 Nos. (Gen)
4. Turner: 5 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1). 1nos. for Ex-serviceman
5. Fitter (L): 9 Nos. (Gen—6; SC—2; ST—0; OBC—1). 1 Nos. for Ex-serviceman
6. Optical Worker: 4 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—0)
7. Millwright: 1 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Madhyamik (Matriculation or equivalent) AND must have National Council for Vocational Training (NCTVT) in the relevant trade. In case of insufficient NCTVT’s candidates; Candidates with ITI or equivalent Diploma/ Certificate holder will be taken.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST- 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman & any other Categories – As per Govt. norms
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Trade test. Written Test will be of Objective type. For details, refer the Advt.

The Application form must be enclosed with attested copies (attestation by Gazetted Officer) of testimonials in support of Qualification, Age, Caste and Etc.
Candidates must enclose 3nos. passport size photograph along with the Application form (one copy pasted on the form after attestation with Gazetted Officer and Two other similar copies with self signed, enclosed with the form)
Application fee: Rs.50/- only. Candidates must prepare crossed Indian Postal Order payable at Dehradun or Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Sr. General Manager, Opto Electronics Factory, Raipur, Dheradun—248008 and payable at Dehradun.
SC/ST/PH and Ex-serviceman are Exempted from Application fee.
