Ordnance Depot Shakurbasti, Delhi, under Ministry of Defence, is inviting application for 44 posts of Lower Division Clerk, Fireman and Storekeeper. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Recruitment Notice No. 01/2013. Qualification requirement and eligibility criteria is given below —
1. Lower Division Clerk: 24 Nos. (Gen—12; SC—4; ST—2; OBC—6)
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent. Candidates must have typing speed of 35 words per minute in English typing and 30 words per minute in Hindi typing on Computer.
2. Fireman: 17 Nos. (Gen—9; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—5)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. Candidates must be physically fit and competent of performing strenuous duties.
Physical Efficiency Test—
(a) Height: 165 cms (162.5 cms for ST category)
(b) Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 81.5cms/ 85cms.
(c) Weight: 50 Kgs minimum
(d) Endurance test for Fireman — (i) Carrying a man of 63.5kgs to a distance of 183mtrs within 96 seconds., (ii) Long jump of 2.7 mtrs., (iii) Climbing 3 mtrs vertical rope using hands and feets and (iv) 1600 mtrs run in 6 minutes 20 seconds.
3. Storekeeper: 3 Nos. (Gen—2; OBC—1)
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent
Pay Scale (applicable to all posts): Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-
Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 25yrs in case of General candidates as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms
Selection of the candidates will be through written test/ practical, physical test, as applicable, followed by Interview.
Test/ Interview will be held at Ordnance Depot Shakurbasti. Date and venue will be intimated in due course to the eligible candidates through acknowledgement card.
