Ordnance Factory, Itarsi requires 361 Chemical Process Worker, Electrician, Fitter, Millwright, Turner, Boiler Attendant & Labourer, Last Dt. 22/09/12 (29/09/2012)

Ordnance Factory, Itarshi (M.P), under Ministry of Defence, is recruiting 145 persons in Semi-skilled grade of Industrial Establishment at the factory in the trades of – Chemical Process Worker, Electrician, Fitter, Millwright, Electronics, Turner, Boiler attendant, Instrument, Labour and Etc. eligible candidates may apply on prescribed Application Form. The Qualification requirement and Etc is given below in brief—

Name and No. of vacancies in each trades according to category wise is given below—
1. Chemical Process Worker: 73 Nos. (Gen—31; SC—12; ST—21; OBC—9). Out of them Ex-Serviceman – 10nos.
2. Electrician: 18 Nos. (Gen—8; SC—3; ST—4; OBC—3). Out of them Ex-Serviceman—1nos & PH—1nos.
3. Fitter General: 10 Nos. (Gen—6; SC—1; ST—2; OBC—1). Out of them Ex-Serviceman – 1nos.
4. Fitter Boiler: 1 Nos. (Gen)
5. Fitter Refrigeration: 1 Nos. (ST)
6. Millwright: 3 Nos. (Gen—1; ST—2)
7. Fitter Electronics: 3 Nos. (Gen—2; ST—1)
8. Turner: 4 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1; OBC—1)
9. Boiler Attendant: 7 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—1). Out of them PH—1nos.
10. Fitter Instrument: 5 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—1). Out of them 1nos. Ex-Serviceman.
11. Labourer: 20 Nos. (Gen—16; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—2) out of them Ex-Serviceman—2nos. and PH—2nos.

Qualification Required:—
For all above posts (except “Labourer”): Class 10 pass or equivalent with NCVTC certificate in relevant trades failing which by ITI or Diploma/ Certificate in equivalent.
For the post Labourer:  Class 10 pass or equivalent.

Age limits: between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs, OBC—3yrs, PH—10yrs, Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Trade Test. Written Test will be on 14th October 2012. Eligible candidates will be intimated through Admit Card in due course. For details, refer the Advt. (link given below).

How to Apply: Apply on prescribed format or prepare one on a plain paper as per format. Enclose attested copies (attestation done by Gazetted Officer) of documents in support of Qualification, age, caste and etc. enclose 3nos. passport size photograph writing name and posts on the backside of each photographs. One copy should be affixed on the form and self-signed across it.

Application Fee: Candidates should enclose Crossed Demand Draft or Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs.50/- drawn in favour of General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Itarsi.

Last Date of Application: Application Form should reach on or before 22nd September 2012 (29/09/2012 in the case of applicants residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshdweep & for applicants residing abroad).
