Ordnance Factory Kanpur (UP) recruiting 100 Labourer (Semi Skilled, Group C). Apply Online within 24/08/2013

Indian Ordnance Factory — Ordnance Factory Kanpur (UP) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 100 posts of – Labourer (Semi Skilled, Group C posts). Interested candidates may apply Online from the official website of the factory. Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Trade test (see below). Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —

LABOURER (SEMI SKILLED)
Number of Vacancies: 100 Nos. (Gen—50; SC—22; ST—02; OBC—26). Out of total vacancies, 3 for PH and 10 for Ex-servicemen is reserved.

Educational Qualification: Class 10 pass/ Matriculation pass certificate.

Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Trade test. Written Test will be of 100 marks in the following subjects — Numerical Aptitude, General Science and General Awareness. 

Trade Test will mainly engaged on handling/shifting of material. He will also be required to clean machines, floors of shop/areas around machines and other similar places, if and as necessary.
Language for Written Test/Trade Test — Hindi or English, as per choice indicated by the candidate in application form.
Date and venue of examination will be intimated in due course. 

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.50/- through Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Crossed Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of – General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Kanpur – 208009, payable at Kanpur Branch.
SC/ST and Ex-servicemen are exempted from Application Fee.

During online Application form, candidates will require to upload their scan image of passport size photograph and signature in JPG/ JPEG format.
After successful submission of the online application, the system generated application with unique Serial No. will appear on the screen. Candidates must print-out this and must sent it to the below address by post.

Address: The printout of the filled application form should be addressed to – The General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Kanpur – 208009 (UP), along with the attested copies of requisite certificates in support of age (Date of birth) and qualification, experience, caste certificate in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidate
Superscribe the envelope containing Application form with — “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF LABOURER (SEMI-SKILLED)”
