Ordnance Factory, Tiruchirappalli, under Ministry of Defence, is recruiting 30 “Labour (Semi-Skilled)” on Direct recruitment for the factory. Matric pass candidates may apply. Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Trade Test. The interested and eligible candidates may apply online through the official website of the Factory. Educational Qualification norms and eligibility criteria are given below.
LABOUR (SEMI SKILLED)
Number of Vacancies: 30 Nos. (Gen—15; OBC—15)
Educational Qualification: Class 10 pass/ Matriculation.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.1800/-
Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written test of 100 marks (objective type) and Trade Test (Practical). Refer the advt. (given below in PDF) for details.

Application Fee: Rs.50/- through Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of the General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Tiruchirappalli and payable at Trichy. The IPO shall be enclosed with the Application form.
No Application Fee for SC/ST/PWD and Ex-serviceman.

After filling the online application and uploading of recent photograph, a Registration Slip with unique Registration number will be generated automatically. This registration number should be used for future reference. The candidates must print-out the generated Registration Slip. This Registration slip along with attested copies of testimonials is to be sent at the below address by post.

I applied for the semi skilled labourer post within the last date we mentioned in the notification,it’s already one and half years over,but still I can’t get any intimation for written examination.meanwhile I contact six to ten times but we don’t give proper information,so I hope we are giving proper response to my comment…
