Educational Qualification for Orissa High Court Recruitment 2023
The Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or Other qualification equivalents and typewriting on the computer with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute and pass the PGDCA course on the computer.
Age Limit for High Court of Orissa Recruitment 2023
The Candidate’s Minimum age is 18 years and the Maximum age is 32 years.
1) 5 years age relaxation for SC, ST, SEBC, and women candidates and 10 years relaxation for PwDs. Persons with disabilities belonging to the SC/ST/SEBC category are eligible for progressive age relaxation of 15 years i.e. 10 years under the PwD category and 5 years under the SC/ST/SEBC category will be exempted.
2) Age relaxation for ex-serviceman candidates will be done as per relevant laws, rules, orders, or instructions issued by the State Government.
3) Date of birth given in High School Certificate of candidates or equivalent certificate issued by the concerned Board/Council only will be accepted.
4) The date of birth mentioned in the candidate’s High School Certificate or equivalent certificate issued by the concerned Board/Council will only be accepted.
Pay Scale for Orissa High Court Recruitment 2023
Rs. 19,900 —- 63,200/- in the pay scale at Level 4 of the Pay Matrix under ORSP and other allowances as may be approved by the Government of Orissa from time to time.

(i) All Other Candidates: Rs. 500/-
(ii) SC/ ST/ PwD Candidates: Nil
Candidates must pay the application fee using a debit card/ credit card/ net banking system only online. Fees once paid are non-refundable.
Selection Process for High Court of Orissa Recruitment 2023
candidates will be recruited for this Junior Grade Typist / Data post through Preliminary Examination, Language Test, Computer Application Test, Main Written Examination (Typewriting Test in English), and Viva-voce.
A) Preliminary Examination:-
The preliminary exam will be 150 marks as per General English, General Knowledge, Graduate Course Reasoning in Logic, and Quantitative Aptitude. This type of preliminary examination will consist of 150 objective-type questions with multiple-choice answers. Each wrong answer shall carry a negative marking of 0.5 marks.
B) Language Test:-
(i) One essay in English (consisting of 300 words) 30 marks.
(ii) Correct writing 20 marks.
(iii) Translation of a passage from English to Odia 20 marks.
(iv) Translation of a passage from Odia to English 20 marks.
(v) English Grammar will carry 10 marks.
C) Computer Application Test:-
Computer application test, which is aptitude in nature, will consist of theory and skill tests.
(i) Theory – 50 Marks (Time – 30 Minutes)
(ii) Skill Test – 50 Marks (Time – 30 Minutes)
D) Main Written Examination:-
i) The test will be for 10 minutes and candidates will have to type around 400 words on a printed matter at a speed of 40 words per minute.
ii) While evaluating 1 mark will be deducted for each mistake in the typed script. The omission of words will be considered an error.
iii) A candidate whose script contains more than 20 mistakes will be disqualified.
E) Viva voce:-
The marks of the candidates in the Viva-Voce Test will be added to the marks obtained by them in the Main Written Test (Typewriting Test in English) to arrive at the total marks secured by him and their names will be arranged in the order of merit based on such total marks of the candidates. How to Apply for Orissa High Court Recruitment 2023
1) Candidates have to apply online through the official website only, no other mode of application will be accepted and will be rejected.
2) Candidates need to apply online through the High Court of Orissa official website www.orissahighcourt.nic.in only. No other way/mode of application will be accepted.
Certificates/ Documents to be Uploaded by Candidates:-
i) HSC or equivalent certificate in support of the candidate’s age proof. Graduation certificate qualification or its equivalent from a recognized university or other such.
ii) Candidate’s certificate showing typewriting with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute on a computer.
iii) Passed certificate in PGDCA course on the computer of the candidate.
iv) Certificate of good character from the institution’s last participation or certificate from two persons of repute.
v) Recent passport-size photograph of the candidate.
vi) Candidate’s Aadhaar Card.
vii) Medical Certificate or Disability Certificate in case of PwD candidates.
