Odisha State Selection Board Recruitment 2024 -Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification:- As per the official notification candidates must have passed a Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade on the date of application. Provided that, a candidate belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, SEBC, and/or PwD shat[ possess a Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or its equivalent grade on the date of application.
Age Limit:- The Minimum age Limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 42 years.
The upper age limit mentioned above can be extended by 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), Women, and Ex-Servicemen. Similarly, candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category with a disability of not less than 40% can avail a relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit.
Additionally, for individuals with continuous service in roles such as guest faculty, management employee, or on a block grant basis in any Government or Aided colleges (either +2 or +3 level), a relaxation of 10 years will be granted for every complete year of service, up to a maximum age limit of 55 years.

Selection Process for OSSB Recruitment 2024

Candidates belonging to the Unreserved and SEBC categories need to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs. 500 only. On the other hand, candidates from Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, and PwD categories need to pay a fee of Rs. 1200 only. This fee should be paid online while applying.
