Panchayat & Rural Development Section, Burdwan, is recruiting eligible Indian citizen for different posts at Gram Panchayat and Panchayat Samiti level under Burdwan district. Posts — Nirman Sahayak, Panchayat Sahayak, Panchayat Karmee, Accounts Clerk, Education Officer, Typist and Panchayat Samiti Peon. Total vacancies — 402 Nos. PANCHAYAT & RD SECTION, BURDWAN, REQUIRES 402 NIRMAN SAHAYAK, PANCHAYAT SAHAYAK, PANCHAYAT KARMEE, ETC. LAST DT. EXTENDED — 22/12/2013

GRAM PANCHAYAT LEVEL POSTS —
1. Nirman Sahayak: 39 Nos. (Gen—21; SC—9; ST—2; OBC—7)
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering
Pay Scale: Rs.9000—40500 and Grade Pay: Rs.4400 plus other allowances as per norms.

2. Gram Panchayat Sahayak: 109 Nos. (Gen—54; SC—27; ST—7; OBC—21)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass. Candidates with 50% marks in aggregate in the Madhyamik or equivalent will be preferred.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2300 plus other allowances as per norms.

3. Gram Panchayat Karmee: 160 Nos. (Gen—80; SC—39; ST—17; OBC—24)
Qualification: Class VIII pass
Pay Scale: Rs.4900—16200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1700 plus other allowances as per norms.

PANCHAYAT SAMITI LEVEL POSTS — 
4. Samiti Education Officer: 19 Nos. (Gen—9; SC—5; ST—1; OBC—4)
Qualification: Graduate degree with Post Graduate B.Ed. degree or Graduate Degree with three years experience in teaching in any Primary or Secondary School or Graduate Degree with three years experience of working in Govt. sponsored Alternative System of Education or Graduate degree with three years experience in Management of Education.
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3600 plus other allowances as per norms.

5. Accounts Clerk: 29 Nos. (Gen—10; SC—7; ST—1; OBC—6)
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent. Diploma in Computer Application is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600 plus other allowances as per norms.

6. Clerk cum Typist: 30 Nos. (Gen—15; SC—3; ST—2; OBC—4)
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent and must have typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Bengali.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600 plus other allowances as per norms.

7. Panchayat Samiti Peon: 16 Nos. (Gen—6; SC—6; ST—1; OBC—3)
Qualification: Must have knowledge of reading and writing in Bengali.
Pay Scale: Rs.4900—16200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1700 plus other allowances as per norms.

N.B: Reservation of vacancies for PH/ EC/ Ex-serviceman is as per norms. See the advt. for details.

Age Limit (For all posts): Between 18yrs to 40yrs as on 01/01/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

The engagement to the posts are on purely temporary basis.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written examination and Practical test (as applicable for the post). The date and venue of written examination will be intimated through Admit card which can be downloaded from the below mentioned official website.
Candidates may download their Admit Card from dated 23/12/2013 to 27/12/2013 30/12/2013 (12 Noon) till 06/01/2014.
The Written Examination will be held on 19/01/2014 (Sunday)

After submitting the online Application form, the system generated application along with a unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it on plain paper and shall retain it safely for future reference.
There is no need to send any documents or hard copy to the office.

  3. Not sure about venue of exam.. also printed the admit card but there was no mention about the venue.. name.. or other details.. it’s kind of a joke…….. shit

  4. KARMASANDHAN.COM, Please update yourself and don’t provide misinformation. Its been officially said in the website (www.bardhaman.nic.in and http://www.bardhaman.gov.in), that “Admit Card Will be Available After 2nd January 2014”. No actual date/s or time has been mentioned yet.
