Panchayat & R.D. Section, Nadia, is inviting application for recruitment to different posts at Gram Panchayat and Panchayat Samiti level under Nadia district. Name of the Post— Executive Asst., Nirman Sahayak, Samiti Education Officer, Data Entry Operator and Clerk-cum-Typist. Total vacancies—82 Nos. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online. Educational norms and brief details are given below —

1. Executive Assistant: 47 Nos. (Gen—25; SC—11; ST—3; OBC—8)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and Diploma in Computer Application.
Desirable—Post Graduate degree in Social Work/ Rural Development and/or Experience in social work/ rural development works 
Age: 18yrs to 40yrs.
Initial Pay: Rs.7440 plus Grade Pay: Rs.3600 plus other allowances as per norms.

2. Nirman Sahayak: 8 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1; ST—4; OBC—2)
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Age: 18—45yrs.
Initial Pay: Rs.9000 and Grade Pay: Rs.4400 plus other allowances as per norms.

3. Samiti Education Officer (Direct Recruitment): 10 Nos. (Gen—5; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—2)
Qualification: Graduate degree with Post Graduate B.Ed degree OR Graduate Degree with 03yrs experience of teaching in Primary/ Secondary school OR Graduate degree with 03yrs experience of working in Govt. sponsored alternative system of education OR Graduate degree with 03yrs experience in Management of Education OR Graduate degree with 03yrs experience in Management of Education.
Age: 18—40yrs.
Initial Pay: Rs.7910 and Grade Pay: Rs.3600 plus other allowances as per norms.

4. Samiti Education Officer (By Section): 7 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—2; ST—1; OBC-Cat-I)
Qualification: Sahayika or Sahayak of Sishu Shiksha Kendra or Samprasarika/ samprasarak of Madhyamik Shiksha Kendras. See advt. below for alternative.
Graduate degree with Post Graduate B.Ed degree OR Graduate Degree with 03yrs experience of teaching in Primary/ Secondary school OR Graduate degree with 03yrs experience of working in Govt. sponsored alternative system of education OR Graduate degree with 03yrs experience in Management of Education OR Graduate degree with 03yrs experience in Management of Education.
Age: maximum 45yrs.
Initial pay: Rs.7910 and Grade Pay: Rs.3600/- plus other allowances as per norms.

5. Data Entry Operator: 1 Nos. (SC)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or its equivalent and shall have minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Bengali AND shall have minimum 3 months duration course of computer training.
Desirable—one year experience of data entry is desirable. 
Age: 18—45yrs.
Initial Pay: Rs.6240 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600/- plus other allowances as per norms.

6. Clerk-cum-Typist: 9 Nos. (Gen—5; SC—2; OBC—2)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or its equivalent and shall have minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Bengali. Candidates shall have proficiency in MS Word/ Word processing software.
Age: 18—40yrs.
Initial pay: Rs.6240 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600/- plus other allowances as per norms.

Upper age relaxation: Age will be counted as on 01/01/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Practical test (wherever applicable) and Viva-voce . Examination date and venue will be intimated in due course and candidates will be able to download the Admit card from the website of the district.
