I. No. of posts in Mohal:- 932 posts (Gen-513, SC-208, ST-55, OBC-156)
District wise vacancies:- i) Bilaspur: 31 posts, ii) Chamba: 68 posts, iii) Hamirpur: 80 posts, iv) Kangra: 22 posts, v) Kinnaur: 19 posts,
vii) Kullu: 42 posts, viii) Mandi: 174 posts, ix) Shimla: 115 posts, x) Solan: 62 posts, xi) Sirmour: 52 posts, xii) Una: 69 posts.
II. No. of posts in Settlement Department:- 262 posts (Gen-145, SC-57, ST-13, OBC-47)
Educational Qualification:
i) Should have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
ii) The candidates appearing in sports category should be National level medal winner or who have participated three time in National level tournament.
Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years as on 01/01/2019.
Only candidates of Himachal Pradesh are eligible to apply for the post.
The vacancies are in Mohal and Settlement Department in Himachal Pradesh. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis.
The selected candidates will be undergo Training. The candidates selected for Settlement Department will be allocated to Kangra Settlement Division & Shimla Settlement Division.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Combined Screening Test.
